Story
Astrid/Squid is our family dog who was taken care of by my mom. My mom recently had a bad stroke which left her using a wheelchair and walker. She and Squid now live with me, but I am allergic to dogs, and we are in a cramped apartment. I work full-time while going to college, so my hands are incredibly full, and my mom is no longer able to tend to Squid like she used to or take her on walks. This has been a struggle for us all. She is iffy around adult cats, and not good with other dogs-- she may warm up to them over time, but patience is needed. She has a prey drive and is NOT great around small animals/kittens! She is VERY sweet, loving, and friendly to people though, and is a lap dog. My mom is not sure about her health, but she has dental issues, as well as some fatty lipomas. As much as it breaks my heart, we want Squid to be able to go to a home that has the space, time, and physical ability to give her the attention she needs. Thank you so much! More info on request.
