Ash is a special boy who has overcome a lot in his short life. Found as a kitten on the streets, he came to us with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. In his early years, Ash was understandably skittish, but with time and patience, he’s blossomed into a gentle, loving cat who just needs someone to see beyond his shy exterior. His shy exterior makes him a little more cautious, but that doesn’t stop him from being the sweetest companion once he feels safe with you. He may take a little time to trust, but once he does, he’ll reward you with endless fun and playing! Ash is looking for a quiet, patient home where he can feel secure and loved. If you’re willing to give him the time and understanding he needs, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, tender friend for life.

de Oro (of gold) was taped into a cardboard box and left outside an office. He is very shy, but totally sweet-natured ... in no way aggressive. Having said that, he behaves almost feral if you try to pick him up. He is beautiful and has amazingly soft hair and purrs whenever he is pet ... loves the attention ... but is still working on coming out for attention. He is 12+ years old. Like most rescues, we don't believe he is a purebred anything, but he is so non-aggressive, so soft and has tufts of white coming out of his ears ... like a small Maine Coon. He has white at his throat. He keeps getting prettier and rubs against my legs when feeling confident.. He loves to be around the other non-aggressive cats, but won't defend food against the aggressive ones. On the other hand, he loves Fancy Feast!. We consider de Oro a "project" since we expect him to continue getting prettier and more loving ... but have no idea how long that will take. It won't happen in rescue with other cats. Leo is 8 years old. We adopted him from an humane society. He is the sweetest cat. He grew up with our other cat maple and they've always been besties. We moved to Arizona and moved in with our sister in law who has 2 cats. He is now peeing in our rental we believe to mark his dominance because of the other cats. He needs a home with no other cats so that won't be an issue. He is on special kidney food. Otherwise he is so sweet, we are so sad we can't have him but unfortunately we can't have the peeing in our rental.

Kiki is a combo with Annabell, a gray short hair about same age. Both will be 2yrs old this month. They are both great with our two young daughters, and play with each other constantly. Never clawed any furniture, and stick to their scratch pads. They will go outback and come back in for short periods of time, both social. Kiki doesn't prefer to be pet, but will always be near you or even cuddle up. Annabell is as affectionate and comfortable being held or pet as it gets. Neither have caused us any troubles other than my recently increasing severe cat allergy, which is driving the rehome. It will be tough on my kids, so need to make sure they're staying together and going to a great and loving home.
