Leon is a big (15 lb.) 5-year-old sweetheart. If you want a love bug, Leon's your boy! He's a combo of Teddy Bear and Marshmallow and he's a snuggler. He wants to be close to “His” person, following, chatting, sitting next to you or on your lap (if it's big enough). Leon is very smart, he knows his name, comes when he's called & minds well. Leon understands basic commands such as the words "no", "come here", etc. Leon was trying to survive on the streets of Laredo TX until he was rescued by an Angel. Even though, Leon has the manners of Royalty. He's very good with his litter box habits and loves treats and trackballs. Leon has had a history of urinary crystals (which caused a blockage), and although he is now doing great, he will need to stay on a special diet that will continue to support his urinary health. He is on Royal Canin SO + Calm dry & canned food. Leon must stay on this food for his health. If taken off this food Leon could become blocked again. He does well with kids, adults, and other cats. He would do best as an only pet or as a companion for another friendly cat. Leon's adoption fee is $200.00. His adoption fee includes flea treatment, dewormer, wellness exam, Combo Test (Neg/Neg), Rabies Vaccine, FVRCP Vaccine, and microchip. Leon recently had a dental as well. If you have a load of love and snuggles and don't mind sharing your personal space, Leon would be a good fit! Leon is available for adoption within 100 miles of Augusta, Kansas.
