Story
Kit found me in Coatesville, PA, as a sick stray. I worked hard to help him. He’s now neutered, has all shots, beautiful fur, & put healthy weight on. He’s sweet, a big snuggler, is great with kids (I have a rammy 4 year old and they get along awesomely), & LOVES to play & get his head rubbed. I have a grumpy older cat who gets upset when Kit wants to play, often leading to fights. I do think that if Kit went to a home where the other cats are OK with having little rowdy playful cat around that he would be awesome with other cats. I wish I could keep him, but the chemistry between Kit and my older cat isn’t improving on my older cats end & I don’t know what else to do. I will (very) sadly have to settle for a happier home for Kit. I don’t want him to ever be back as an outside cat as he fared badly on the streets, so I’m hoping to find an indoor only family. No fees, I just want my little friend to live a happy, safe, fulfilled life with a family. Any questions, just ask!!

Story
Plea for help from Jonathan: “My friend and I took in several feral cats a while ago. Most are now socialized and many are bonded pairs/families. Since we are both experiencing severe health problems currently and a move from the area has become necessary, we can no longer care for the cats. We are looking for good homes for them.   We are located in Clinton, MD (southern PG County). The best method of reaching us is: zcathouse.md@gmail.com”   Mushmellow [a.k.a. 'Mush'] (NM, Brown Tabby?, DLH?/Maine Coon?, ~7+ years?) & Scout (NM, Black, DSH, ~6+ years?) Mush[mellow] never liked hanging out at the salad bowl, but his food bowl is his claim to fame and weight gain. Scout waits patiently for his turn. And even though Mush also hogs their bed, Scout still loves him and they always work it out. They are best buds for life! Two gentle giants who were found at our local Rite Aid, and are, thus, referred to as the "Rite Brothers". That said, we don't know whether they are siblings, or even related at all, though it is clear they are strongly bonded and have great affection for one another. Mushmellow was initially quite larger than Scout, so we believe there may be some age difference. Whatever the case, they are both big dudes who will need lots of exercise - along with a relatively strict diet. Mushmellow has a tendency to give some pretty strong 'love bites', but he means well. Scout, on the other hand, likes to make sure he knows where his 'brother' is most of the time.   Disclaimer: AAHA provides complimentary listings for members of the community who wish to rehome their pet, as well as for other shelters/ rescues to assist them in finding Furever homes. Mac is a awesome affectionate cat. He's friendly and easygoing. He came up on our porch 2 years ago in the middle of winter and we took him in. Because of that, we don't really know his breed, but he looks like a Maine Coon mix. He would be a great addition to anyone's family.

Story
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION: Edgar is an adult Maine Coon. He is a big, cuddly boy. Edgar needs a diet of good quality wet food, not dry. He has problems with constipation. He has tested positive for FIV, but is in good health. Recent dental. He will be stressed by other male cats and will be aggressive, but is fine if those other cats are calm. He gets along with females okay. He does not like dogs. He is very affectionate and sweet toward people. He is stressed around small children. Edgar needs in an adopter who has a good relationship with their vet. Edgar is trained to allow claw clipping and likes carriers. He will need frequent claw trims. He is very good with medical care, including oral medication and fluids. He is a large cat, and Maine Coons are smart and need a lot of enrichment in their environment in order to not become destructive out of boredom. The right adopter will understand that a large long haired Maine Coon will need certain additions in their environment and diet. We are not sure exactly how old Edgar is, but we suspect over eight years.
