KATE IS IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND Kate is the biggest sweetheart who loves attention and cuddles. She will sit on your lap all day 😻 Unfortunately she and my other cat do not get along and she is not very happy living with him. She also needs her own litter box which the other cat does not allow her to have, so she has accidents around the house if the litter boxes are not clean enough. An ideal adopter would be someone who can give her lots of love and attention, play with her a lot, and keep a very clean litter box.

Clark is located in Blairstown, NJ    Clark and his 2 siblings were living in the streets when OMC stepped in and broug them into foster care. Abby is a perfect 9-year old white and brown tabby Maine Coon mix. Abby was rescued 4 years ago and is well-loved and cared for. She is loved so much, that that her family wants to find her a new fur-ever home so she can get the attention that she deserves, while a family member prioritizes their health.  Abby would do best in a calm household without children or dogs; it's unknown if she can be around other cats. While she doesn't love to be picked up, she does love to "love" her family on her own terms! This sweet girl shows her affection by purring, kitty kisses and head butts. This gentle sweetie came to us in rough shape, suffering from hypothermia and severe dehydration, matted fur and treatable wounds. Shy Guy can be a bit cautious around children and seems fearful of men, but with time, patience and love we think he will thrive. He’s not a fan of baths, but he handles it without biting, scratching or being vocal. Though he’s quick to find his escape route when cornered and is certainly regaining muscle strength! Shy Guy enjoys being brushed and even aggressive chin scratches. His FAVORITE food is Blue Buffalo Puree pouches. When looking for a feline companion, Shy Guy might be the perfect match for you. He will need a dedicated adopter who is willing to give him the time and attention he needs to open up. He prefers to stay out of sight and under a bed, but does enjoy the daily pets when his foster crawls under the bed to spend time with him.    *Update 12/1/24* Shy guy has opened up to his surroundings immensely compared to his arrival temperament. Shy Guy would do well in a home with another friendly feline. His engagement with his foster increased greatly after introducing him to his foster brother. When the kids are asleep with the dog, Shy Guy and his brother spend the evening exploring the first floor of the house while playing together for hours. Shy guy will still cower and flea at the slightest unexpected sound or movement. However, he will quickly return when he realizes there is no threat. Named after characters from The Lord of the Rings trilogy, these beautiful 3-year-old Maine Coon mixes came to OMC! Rescue via a rescuer in New Jersey, who saved them from the streets, along with their mother, Rosie (also available for adoption: https://www.omcrescue.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=20292666). No one knows what their life was like before they were rescued, but it couldn’t have been good, as they are very shy and skittish (but sweet!). They require a super-patient adopter who is willing to give them all the time they need to feel comfortable in their new home. Éowyn and Pippin have made some progress since arriving at their foster home. They’re both still very nervous around people, but Éowyn now approaches her foster mom to sniff her outstretched hand. Her foster mom was absolutely delighted when she recently accepted some neck scratches! Pippin still runs and hides when his foster mom tries to approach him. Éowyn is definitely his “protector” and always assures him that everything is OK. The two of them play and wrestle when their foster mom is in the room with them, and it’s heartwarming to see how much Éowyn loves her brother! The siblings love all kinds of toys — catnip mice, crinkly balls, jingle balls, even squeaky toys! They're also big fans of the laser pointer — especially Pippin, who is completely enraptured by the elusive red dot. When Éowyn and Pippin aren’t wrestling or running around playing, they can be found lounging on one of the cat trees or snoozing in one of the comfy cat beds. They also groom each other, which is super-cute! Éowyn and Pippin currently live with several other cats, as well as dogs. They've been fine with the cats, but they haven’t had any interactions with the dogs, who are big and somewhat boisterous. They would probably be OK with a very calm dog. Éowyn and Pippin have never been around children before, and given their shyness, they would probably do best in a home without young kids. Both Éowyn & Pippin are up to date on their vaccinations and spayed/neutered, and they’ve tested negative for FeLV/FIV.
