Story
Sweet and lovable siblings. Very affectionate and just cool cats. Beautiful Maine Coons that we've had since they were kittens. They are used to a parent that travels a lot but this time I'm going to be away for a few years so looking for a new home where somebody will love them and take good care of them. As seniors, they mostly eat, sleep and want to hang out near you (once they get to know you). Monroe (male) loves belly rubs and will throw himself down to give you access. PenPen (female) is shy and will take some time to get to know you... but it's worth the wait as she is such a sweet, mellow girl. NOTE: Monroe was diagnosed with diabetes 6 months ago and it is now under control. He still needs daily insulin injections and a strict diet. I was freaked out by this at first but it's actually very easy. He doesn't mind the injections, hardly notices them, especially now that he's feeling good again. And, with any luck, he'll eventually be able to come off of it.

Story
I have a 10 year old Maine Coon cat that needs to be someones only pet. Ive had her since she was a small kitten, but shes recently developed a negative relationship with my dog, who requires a lot of attention. I think shes jealous. She gets freaked out by my dog, who has seizures, so it frightens her. I need to rehome her a.s.a.p. Her good qualities are that she doesnt hunt or kill ANYTHING. Shes very healthy. She is good both indoors and outside. Shes not hyperactive either, but rather lazy. Shes shy at first, but has gotten along with Rover sitters just fine. Shes affectionate and likes to be the center of attention! Another couple of good points: she doesnt scratch furniture, or jump up on countertops! She is up to date on all shots. I have my hands full with my dogs increasingly demanding care, and would really like to find Liza a new home where she can be doted on. Im asking a small rehoming fee, which I will gladly refund later toward a vet bill.
