Liam is a great cat, he was my son’s cat and he got deployed. I am not allowed to have pets where I live. I just don’t want to have to take him to a shelter .

Meet Olive! Olive is a sweet and gorgeous girl born in 2018. Olive was surrendered by her owners after kids came along Olive spent her days hiding in fear of the noise and chaos. They felt she would do better with a calmer home. Olive is shy at first and very sweet. She will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to relax. She is playful and likes cat nip, to chase feathered wand toys, and to hang out in her tunnel. She does well with other cats when properly introduced and has excellent litter manners. Meet Sully III! He is a 4-year-old, 13-pound cat, with a coat of lush shadow and snow. I've had Sully for about five months. Before that, he lived with another family. Sully is a high-energy cat who loves to be outside. I take him on walks a couple of times per day, during which he likes to wander and observe the world. When he's inside, he likes to look out the window and watch cat TV. While he craves daily activity, he spends most of the day curled up in the sunshine or next to me while I work. He likes it when I read aloud to him. Sitting in empty boxes is his favorite activity! Unfortunately, Sully clashes with my other cat (6F). Because of this clash, I'm hoping to help Sully find a home that can better accommodate him. While he and my other cat don't get along, he has had a positive relationship with another cat before. In his previous family, Sully had a close older cat friend that eventually passed away. Despite the current feline tension, Sully is very social and cuddly with humans. He likes to sit with me and exchange rubs, and he's friendly when meeting strangers. An ideal home for Sully would be one with easy outdoor access. It seems that he wants to be fully indoor/outdoor; I'm in an apartment, so I can't always give him the outdoor time that he wants. Sully is house and leash trained. Dusty is a beautiful sweet boy who has gorgeous long hair, also a good singer(yes when you sing he will be singing along), can be needy and look for love and attention as he wish, sometimes cry for food lol. I am sadly moving to a different country and can't provide him a stable home for a long while and really don't want to have him suffered from anything, so I am looking for a new loving home for my babies. Dusty has been with me for almost 5 years since he was 3 months, he also have a different parents sister Daisy( see last pic, she is the sweetest girl in the world), I prefer not to separate them since they love and give each other good company. I'll provide litter boxes/ cat tree/ water fountain/ food feeder, and everything else that belongs to them which all covered by adoption fee, prefer experienced adopters, I have so many good stories and photos of them, would love to hear from them, please let me know if you are interested to be their new parent.

It breaks my heart to write this. Frank and Stella need to be re-homed due to a family member having allergies, and a new baby taking their attention they deserve. They are both 5 years old this year. Frank’s birthday is Valentine’s Day, and he has the sweetest personality to match. Stella (birthday in September) is a little more shy, but warms up after a while and is just as loving. They will come with everything you could need (including a litter robot, cat tree, tunnels, and toys). I really want them to go to a loving home where they will get plenty of snuggles.

Foster-to-Adopt Program Details We are an all-volunteer, foster-based, non-profit organization We don’t have a physical location; all cats and kittens live in foster homes until they are formally adopted. Our foster-to-adopt program allows us to match cats and kittens with their forever family before they’re eligible for adoption. Eligible cats and kittens are placed in the foster’s home with the intention of adoption after required medical care is completed. Foster-to-Adopt foster parents are required to schedule and bring their cats(s) and/or kitten(s) to veterinary appointments at the Animal Medical Center of Richardson as needed.  Foster-to-adopters must meet all of the eligibility requirements RHS has for adopters.  Cats and kittens eligible for our foster-to-adopt program must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at time of drop-off that will be deducted from the animal’s adoption fee of $125.  RHS Adoption Process and Requirements Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/heartworm preventative. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit by an RHS representative. Phone Interview. Compatible applicants will be forwarded to a counselor who will contact the applicant for a phone interview. Home Visit.  If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will coordinate a virtual home visit. We’ll request you send videos/pictures of your home to verify it is safe and welcoming for the cat. Meet and Greet. Once your home visit is complete, we can coordinate a time with you and the foster parent/s to meet the kitty you’re interested in.  Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at your home or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
