Sweet Sassy is ready for her forever home! Sassy came to us in neglect conditions requiring her to be shaved and have staples on some wounds. She has since fully healed and is ready to find her forever home! She is estimated to be about 1 to 3 years old, maltese mix, and is sweet as pie! Sassy is very nervous and would love another dog in the home to help with confidence building. She is crate trained and that is truly her safe space. She LOVES to cuddle and be with her people. Toy tea-cup sized 3lb, 10yrs old apricot hypoallergenic maltipoo. Well loved, very well goroomed, bathed? fed, medically cared for. Teeth cleaned for $1,000.00 this past winter. No cavities - just cleaning. Owner mow fully occupied taking care of 2 elderly & not well parents Dog is Healthy & wanting normal attention which we just cant & won't be able to give any more. Dog behabior is changing as a result of wanting more attention. Peepee tray & outside traineded, but currently always wanting to go peepee & get treats Bark & whining for attention & peeing next to tray or on floor instead of on it half the time. But healthy. Stops behavior when given lots of attention, & Easily re-minded & re-trained, but elderly parents getting much worse past 2months & owner is fully occupied. Needs an owner that likes having him in arms, won't mind taking him a lot to retrain to go peepee outside and leave the poop alone - which he does when told.

This handsome little man is Leo! He is a 4 year old male Maltipoo mix. He is in the 10-15 lb weight range. He is super friendly and is very social. He loves to snuggle and wants to be with you at all times. He is such a little lover and he loves to run and play. He never turns down a good belly rub. He would make the perfect lap dog! He would make a great addition to just about any family! He is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. He can't wait to find his forever home!
