Hello 👋🏻 FCCR friends!!! My name is Emmy and I am 3 year old, 18 lb Maltipoo (my parents were a Maltese and a Poodle). The nice ladies at FCCR saved me from a loud shelter where I was scared 😢 and nervous 😬 and promised me a new life where I would be safe and loved. 🥰 I can’t wait to my forever home. 🏡 Is that with YOU?! My life before coming here was ruff and I still get nervous with new people and places. Once I know I am safe, I will lay in your lap for cuddles 😍 and will be your faithful companion. I don’t like to be with other dogs so I would like to find an ADULT-ONLY home where I can be your one and ONLY fur princess and don’t worry I have great house manners. I haven’t met cats yet so I don’t have an opinion on them. 😆 I like to get out and explore and walk pretty well on my leash but I enjoy playing and feel safer in a fenced-in backyard so I’m hoping my new home will have one of those. My foster mommy is helping me build my confidence and learn how to play with toys (they keep throwing them but I don’t know why they don’t run and pick them up 😂) and basic commands. I overheard my mom say I’m “special” because I have four legs, but only three feet. I’m not sure what special means, but I don’t let it bother me one bit! I keep up with the pack and can jump, run, and play. I love belly rubs and will show anyone my belly to get them. I also like to give kisses. I’m 90% potty trained and I’m kennel trained. I would like a home where I can have lots of affection, a companion, and a fence. I don’t understand leash walking, I like to be independent when I potty. I’m a little guy with a big heart, three paws and lots of love to give.
