Meet Magpie...... What a cutie... Magpie and her brother were recently pulled from a Wisconsin puppy mill. We heard the remaining siblings were all choosen to go to a pet store in Florida. We were contacted to take these in. Magpie is a 10 week old female Maltipoo. Thats a Maltese and Mini Poodle cross. Magpie is a very unique merle color. Her hair also has alot of curls. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle. She is considered fully hypoallergenic. We estimate her full growth weight to be around 10 - 14 pounds. Magpie will be very popular, so get your application in quickly. She gets along great with the other pups in foster and will be great with kids. DOB 5-25-2024 Ayman is a sweetheart! This little boy is social, loves toys and friends to play with and gets along good with others. He is neutered, heartworm negatiive and received his ProHeart 6 injection. His adoption fee is 750.00 and his transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. After you submit your application please allow a few days to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We do look for the best home that fits each of our pets, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved we with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the pet you are interested in.Together we can decide if this is the best choice for both.

Story

I got her from a breeder in 2019. She was a baby then and is now 5 years old. She is the sweetest, cuddliest thing I've ever met but is also the perfect combo because she has a sassy personality too. Her favorite thing is no snuggle but she also really playful. She is small but loves the outdoors and loves people. Kids aren't her favorite thing but she has never bit anyone and it really only takes her a few minutes to warm up to anyone. She will sometimes bark at dogs but has also lived with various animals. Animals are the same as kids for her; it just takes her a few minutes to warm up. She has lived with dogs and cats and gets along with pretty much anything living. Cheeto is housebroken but she's small and has a small bladder. She also gets separation anxiety so should really go to someone who can be around and has a predictable schedule. You can leave the house and she'll be fine, she just wants to know when you'll be back.

Toby is a gentle soul who came to us from kill shelter in very bad shape. He had a horrendous infection due to his very bad teeth. He has a heart murmur and is currently taking two medications for that and an antibiotic for his teeth. He is a very gentle boy and woujd be a sweet addition to a calm home.

An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
