Story
Meet 'Rumple'! This beautiful cat was found outside as a stray, covered in fleas and having had to defend herself against predators. She is a tailless Manx breed, which are known to be smart, very affectionate, to get along with children, and very loyal. Rumple's foster mom agrees with this...she is followed everywhere when Rumple is not basking in the sun or sitting on the couch or her lap. Rumple loves to just hang with her people, explore and play, take naps, watch squirrels...well, she IS a happy cat!Rumple has moderate Manx Syndrome, in which a few bones in her lower spine are missing along with her tail. It gives her a unique walking gait and adds to her charm. She has minor incontinence, which her foster says does not slow her down or cause much mess. Come meet this special girl! Thank you for your interest in Rumple! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=16787 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Rumple, or to submit an online application. Story
Manx kitty Obsidian takes after his momma with his stubby little tail. Obsidian loves to spend his days going on adventures with his siblings and his nights cuddled up on a warm lap. Due to his young age, Obsidian will need to be adopted with one of his littermates or into a home with another playful, young cat. The adoption fee for this kitten is $150. If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this kitten, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.

Story
Our busy family schedule is not aligning well with caring for Pepe. He is a 7 year old beautiful Manx cat that we rescued. We have found he associates best with adults, especially women. He is quite independent, though enjoys cuddling and purrs often.

Story
Please meet Mina! Mina is a 5 year old hilarious and extraordinarily friendly cat. She is a wonderful cuddle buddy, and also does well on her own. Mina has a very funny meow, and her personality makes her so adorable. Mina has never bitten (even at the vet!) and does wonderful with kids. She is scared around some dogs. Mina loves catnip and scratching posts and play toys! Mina has recently been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism but this is an incredibly easy and cheap sickness to treat and she takes her pills very easily! Please consider Mina as your new loyal, cuddly best friend. She’s truly one of a kind.
