The rescue met the dog yesterday - 7-22-24 -- he absolutely a gem He is very treat motivated as the owners were mentioning, he does know his commands such as sit , he does know how shake on both paws-- The rescue person who evaluated him was able touch his face without any issues at all. He very sweet boy who needs a forever home once in for all. He is a Mastiff mix breed Mikah is dog and cat friendly. He is great with kids. He does very well on the leash however, if there was bunnies or birds whole another story he would pull but with minor training he would be absolutely fine dog. If he saw another dog walking around -- wouldn't phase him at all from owner was mentioning. May even try to chase a squirrel. Is potty/crate/house trained. I’ve yet to get him weighed, I would say 98lbs. When we were feeding him TOTW he was 110? We believe he is 3 years old. The shelter he came from tried to tell us he was four when he may have only been two years old. He is neutered. Working on getting his updated rabies shot. Currently located in Tustin. We have had him a year, we got him from the local shelter in Cleveland. We are deciding to rehome him because we had to move to California and downsize. He’s a big boy, that needs space. He’s stuck in our bedroom all day and deserves a better home situation. He’s never bitten anyone that we know of, the shelter never mentioned anything either. He is never alone and we don’t believe he has separation anxiety.

All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

Whiskey was physically taken b y us along with law enforcement from a homeless person who had him strapped to a metal shopping cart with a belt and placed directly in the heat. A good Samaritan had a shop next door and brought him inside to do proper cooling down protocol as he was over heating. He does have some burns on his elbows and arms from the metal shopping cart but he is healing in his foster home and getting coconut oil on his skin to help im heal. That's his rescue story now about him! He is grateful. He knows he is safe, he knows he is in good hands and He is so sweet and docile. He knows play time but is not a hyper puppy at all. He is a great puppy who just wants to be by his hooman companion. He loves to play with other dogs, He is submissive so he gets along with all dogs! he gets along with cats and children as well. Again he is a very sweet boy and will do good in any environment. He will be a medium to large dog so an apartment is not ideal for him but will be considered on a case by case basis.
