MEET GOLDIE, a beautiful & young Mastiff in need of a foster or forever home! Goldie is a 1-year-old girl and is still a big puppy! She already weighs 90 pounds, and will likely put on weight as she grows up. She was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter. Goldie is a sweet, gentle dog. She is slightly shy, especially with men, but very affectionate once she gets to know you. She gives big kisses! We do not know too much yet about how she is with other dogs, because she caught a doggy cough at the shelter so has been in isolation. But given her gentleness, we are expecting she will be good with other dogs, and we will test her soon. She would do well with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I have taken in a 7 year old female mastiff that was surrendered with a box of toys. She is a 140lbs and turned 7 in November. At 7 years old she deserves a family and person that will make her feel loved for the remainder of her life. From investigating, I have found that this poor girl has been in 4-5 homes through her lifetime. She has been amazing with all dogs and people she has come into contact with. The one downside is she does have a few medical issues. She has leaky bladder syndrome so she is on Incurin, which has stopped the dribbling. Additionally, I have found that she has had GI upset since I received her so I have done GI panels and baseline bloodwork.

Harley is a handsome dude who would love to be your one and only buddy. He has a messy story. A flaky woman pulled him out of a city shelter on a whim and then realized her senior dog and Harley were not going to be a good match. She was not up for really giving it a decent effort. She put him in boarding and walked away. He was eventually brought to us at our rescue ranch where he is currently living. He sees other dogs through the yard with no response but we definitely feel he is going to be best/happiest as an only dog. He’s happy to go on walks but he’s also just as happy to have a yard to sunbathe, toss around his toys and just watch over everything. He is not a guard dog. Have not seen him show any signs of being protective. He’s basically a big layback dude.

Ru has had a really hard go in his life. He was owned by a homeless man who didn't teach him manners and he was often loose in his neighborhood. Unfortunatley, Ru was part of a bite incident when he was roaming free. Due to that, he was taken to the shelter where he sat for a YEAR. When we got him out of the shelter, he was SO excited to be free. He has the funniest zoomies and adores playing with toys. He does need to learn some manners as he is a bull in a china shop when he gets really excited. We have had Ru in play groups wiht big dogs and he is a rough player, but he loves to play and could run for hours. Ru will be a great dog for someone willing to excercise him regularly.
