Greetings, fabulous folks! Allow me to introduce myself - the name's Echo, and let me tell you, I hit the jackpot when it comes to birth dates. Yep, you heard right - I'm a Halloween baby born on the spookiest day of the year, October 31st! Where are all my spooky people at?!   Now, rumor has it that I'm a delightful mix of Mastiff, packing a whopping 90 pounds of pure energy and charm. My idea of a good time? Playing catch like a pro and gnawing on a stick like it's nobody's business. I bring a whole new meaning to the term "playtime enthusiast."   When it comes to staying active, count me in! Whether it's a sprint around the block or a leisurely stroll in the park, I'm always ready for some fun. And let me tell you, I'm not just a ball of energy - I'm also the friendliest four-legged friend you'll ever come across. Making new pals is my specialty!   Oh, and did I mention that I'm a pro at potty training? That's right, I've got the whole housebroken thing down to a T. And don't even get me started on my crate skills - I'm basically a crate connoisseur.   But here's the best part - I'm a lover of all creatures, big and small! Cats, dogs, kids - you name it, I'm a big fan. So if you're looking for a furry companion who's full of love and endless fun, look no further! Come on over and meet your new best friend - me, Echo! ##2138101##

Story
Hi there, fabulous friends!  The name's Prince , and I’m here to sprinkle some magic with my larger-than-life personality! At a sprightly 2ish years young, I might be a Mastiff mix, but just watch me bounce around like a puppy on a sugar high! Weighing in at a grand 120lbs, I’m your gentle giant with a heart of gold, all about those cozy vibes – belly rubs, paw massages, and head scratches are my ultimate jam! Now, gather ‘round for a little story: my previous owner thought it was a-okay to leave me all alone in an empty house. But fear not! Some real-life superheroes swooped in, rescued me from my lonely castle, and now I’m on the quest for my forever home, the one that's just right for me! Despite my not-so-glamorous past, I’m all about love, not war! I get along famously with both doggos and kiddos, but when it comes to cats? A big ol’ "no thanks!"  I’ve been training with an awesome human, so I’ve got my obedience skills down to a fine art!But wait, there’s more fun to be had! Yours truly is fully vetted and ready to rock your world with a clean bill of health! So, what do you say? Let’s set off on an adventure together and fill our days with love, laughter, and a whole lot of wagging tails!    Apply at: www.astdogrescue.com/dog-application ##2143498##

Story
A wonderful couple took in this big playful dog to keep her safe and decided to foster her and find her a forever home.  Sissy was dumped in their neighborhood and choose their house to make herself at home. Sissy has been spayed and up to date on vaccinations.  She is approximately 18 months old and weighs about 65 pounds.  They are working on house training, she is crate trained and left in a crate when they leave the house. She knows a few commands like SIT, STAY & COMES when her name is called.  They are working on other basic commands and behavior issues.  Sissy is a big girl and still likes to jump like puppies do.  She will need a home that is active and can walk her and give her the exercise she needs. Her foster home has another dog and Sissy loves playing tug or war and running zoomies around the yard.  If you are interested in adopting Sissy, please contact IDA GARCIA @ 210-317-6381 This is a courtesy posting for the foster family.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 18, 2024, 7:41 am

Story
Silk Smokie is a sweet, playful 7-week-old puppy looking for her forever home. She was born on 6/2/24. She loves to explore and is great with kids and other pets. Silk Smokie is smart and eager to learn, making her the perfect addition to any family. Silk Smokie Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on puppies that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! More and more of our adopters are having fun with DNA tests on their pups. You might ask yourself why our breed guess is varying degrees of difference from the DNA tests. Most of our puppies are rescued from high kill shelters or other abandonment situations and we have no info on parents. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get an automatically generated confirmation email. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
