Story
He was left behind when his owners moved out. Very affectionate. He looks like a goofy, kind of floppy hound dog as he ambles around. He’s sweet and affectionate. Gets along with most dogs. He’s a little bossy with food especially with a timid dog. Feeding in a crate solves that. Loves his play time in the yard with two stout dogs. Great on a leash. The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. Tanner's adoption fee (if picked up locally in Crossville, Tennessee) is $225. If transport is needed, his adoption fee is $525 (out of state, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions).Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Meet Smokie, she is a gentle, loving mastiff mix who firmly believes she is a lap dog. Smokie had a litter of babies when she was rescued, she was just the best momma dog, she cared for and loved her babies, now it is her turn to be loved and cared for. She is a gentle, kind, laid back girl who would love nothing more than to curl up next to her people, get back scratches and be your new best friend. Smokie is great with children, her gentle nature is perfect for a home with little people. She loves other dogs, of all sizes, and will lay in the sun while they play, engaging with them and then snuggling up to her person. Smokie is a velcro dog, wherever you go she will follow, gaze at you with her kind eyes, lean into you for cuddles and steal your heart. Smokie does not like cats, so no homes with kitties. When Smokie has a favorite toy she will carry it with her everywhere she goes, Smokie will be an amazing addition to any family. Smokie is a big teddy bear looking for her own family to love her. Smokie is hw ( heartworm) negative (heartworm treated), fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Meet Daisy!Daisy is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Mastiff mix with a heart as big as her paws! Rescued as a stray in poor condition, Daisy has been thriving in her foster home and steadily gaining weight. She’s blossomed into a sweet, loving girl who adores bedtime cuddles and following her humans everywhere—they’ll never be alone with her around!Still a playful pup, Daisy has plenty of energy and is house trained and still learning the ropes of training like not jumping on you in excitement. She’s a smart cookie and eager to please, so with patience and consistency, she’ll become an amazing companion. Daisy loves playing with bigger, higher-energy dogs, like her foster family’s huskies, and has shown promise around cats. While she’s still learning to respect feline boundaries, she’s making great progress.Watching Daisy discover toys and grow into her happy, playful self is nothing short of heartwarming. She’s ready to bring her big heart and loyal spirit into a forever home that will love her unconditionally. Could Daisy be your perfect match?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.February 6, 2025, 10:16 pm

Story
Meet Roxy! 🐾Roxy is a stunning 2-3-year-old, 60 lb female, likely a Mastiff mix—though whatever she is, she’s absolutely gorgeous! She was found roaming the streets of Memphis in November 2024 and has been lovingly cared for by an amazing vet clinic ever since. Roxy is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. This gentle, sweet, and cuddly girl adores people and does well with other dogs. Though she may seem a little shy in person, we believe a playful companion could help bring her out of her shell! While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she’s even more interested in being around her humans.Roxy appears to have been a solitary outdoor dog in the past, as she seems happiest outside—especially with a person by her side. She would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of love, attention, and maybe even a yard to enjoy! If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and gentle companion, Roxy might just be the perfect match.
