Story
After many years living in the shelter, I was lucky to find a wonderful foster home, but sadly life took a turn with a new job and relocation so now I find myself back in the shelter. A note from my foster mom... Please consider fostering or adopting Hobo!!!! He deserves to be in a home with HIS very ownhumans! Hobo is a beautiful dog – inside and out! He is also deaf. He does hear claps and haslearned that I am the one clapping so, he comes to where I am! He is the sweetest, calmestdog! He truly is an “at your feet”, loyal type dog. He is always near me and chooses to sleepright next to me (on the floor) instead of on his bed against the wall. He is not destructive, evenwith his toys. He will bury one but, covers up his hole and is not a digger. He does not climb onfurniture and is very obedient. He does know my hand sign for “sit” to get his treats so, he isvery smart and a quick learner!! I believe being deaf is new to him so, we were both learningabout hand signals together. He does like to play and is in such good shape for an older dog.He has the cutest, happiest run! He kind of trots. It is too cute. He also loves to give kisses. Heseems to come to me every time he finishes eating with a “thank you” kiss!I have had many dogs and cannot say enough about how special and set apart Hobo is!!!! Iunderstand he needs to be in a home without any other animals so, if that is you and yourhousehold, PLEASE take him into your life! He will bless you with his presence! I guarantee it.Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 12+ due to anxiety around high energy; DeafAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.
