Story
Laika is a 2 year old Mastiff x Lab. She was adopted here as a puppy but returned because she did not get along with other dogs in the home. She has now been here since October 2023. 🥺 Laika is the first dog that is part of our new program, "Ark Stowaways." See below to learn about our new Stowaway Program.Laika is a very social and sweet dog but she has some quirks. She loves long walks, giving hugs, learning new tricks for treats, and playing with squeaky toys. She has no bite history but we feel she would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats and no children under 10 years old. She hopes that someone has room in their heart to at least come meet her. Please complete an application at noahsarkanimals.org if you wish to meet this beautiful girl. ðŸ\x90¾An Ark Stowaway is a dog that has been aboard the Ark longer than usual. These dogs have reduced adoption fees in hopes of helping them find their forever home. The reduced fee is decided on a case-by-case basis. Laika's current reduced fee is $175. Laika is also eligible for foster. Please email foster@noahsarkanimals.org for more information. To apply to adopt a dog from Noah's Ark in Rockford, IL, please visit noahsarkanimals.org.

Story
Hi Everyone, My name is Moose! I am a super handsome, sweet and playful English Mastiff. I am 15 Months old. I am a playful, fun-loving guy. I am gentle with children and great with other dogs. My 4-legged foster brother is my best friend and playmate. I was rescued from a rural shelter and am wanting to live my best life in a loving home. I love to play with other dogs. I will need some leash training. I do walk on a leash, but training would be best for me to learn not to pull the 2-legged humans around. If you have patience, love and understanding and want everlasting unconditional love in return then I am your guy!! Please add a lotta unconditional love, sloppy kisses, tail wags and endless happiness to your family and contact adoptions@wagginghearts.org or jbrescuerangers@yahoo.com for an adoption application and bring me home. I will come with the works (Neutered, up to date on everything, micro chipped, fecal, heart worm tested if age appropriate, heartworm, flea and tick prevented, a free vet visit and medical insurance). What more could a new family ask for? Love and Kisses, Moose
