Laika is a 2 year old Mastiff x Lab. She was adopted here as a puppy but returned because she did not get along with other dogs in the home. She has now been here since October 2023. ðŸ¥º Laika is the first dog that is part of our new program, "Ark Stowaways." See below to learn about our new Stowaway Program.Laika is a very social and sweet dog but she has some quirks. She loves long walks, giving hugs, learning new tricks for treats, and playing with squeaky toys. She has no bite history but we feel she would do best in a home with no other dogs or cats and no children under 10 years old. She hopes that someone has room in their heart to at least come meet her. I really don't think I am as big as they say I am because I would prefer to just be a couch Potatoe and lay next to my people and chew on a bone. I am a people kind of guy and love everyone I meet. I can probably live with another dog, but he would have to be calmer like me. but little dogs and very young children I would be afraid of because I am clumsy and wouldn't want to hurt them. I definitely don't think I could handle cats. But I know a lot of commands they say I am really smart and a fast learner. I am potty trained but do not like cages.
