Story
Lola is a sweet gentle female English Mastiff that loves being with people. I believe her weight is approx 175lbs. She has no medical or behavioral issues. We have had her since she was a puppy. She's approx 2.5 years old so still playful. Lola is physically in very good shape. the only issue to pay attention to is that when on leash and she see's other dogs she gets excited and pulls/jumps. Not aggressively - playfully. The reason for putting her up for adoption is that I have had a career change and traveling extensively.

Story
This handsome boy is Clyde. Clyde was brought in as a stray so we knownone of his back history. We do know that he is a social guy who loves, loves his people. He is also handsome and smart. That is importantbecause this good boy needs some work on his manners. Luckily, he likeshis treats and loves to train. Clyde is hoping his adopters will take himto a class or two so he can become the best boy. Hopefully, this goodboys family will start off keeping his world small and allow him time todecompress. Clyde would do best as the only dog living in the home andthen with some well-matched dog friends outside. He could possibly livewith a dog-savvy cat. And he could possibly live with older children.Would you like to meet this wiggly big boy? Come say hello to Clyde at theMSPCA in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundays from 12PM to 4:30PM.

Story
Zayah is a young mastiff with a beautiful brindle coat. And tons ofget-up-and-go! Luckily this good girl loves her toys and willself-entertain in the yard. She has lived well with teenagers and cats andliked meeting the neighborhood dogs. She could probably live with anotherdog using some management. In her short time here, Zayah has been workingon walking nicely on a leash. Her training is progressing well because sheis very trainy and loves all dog treats. She is hoping for an adopter thatwill continue her manners training. This girl will need a family committedto providing her with enough physical and mental stimulation in order tohandle all her energy. These ideal adopters will allow this sweetiesworld to start off small and allow her to transition to her new environmentat her own pace. Would you like to meet Zayah? This pretty girl? Visitthe MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen on Tuesdays through Sundays from 12PMto 4:30PM.

Story
Courtesy Post: Doing well in short-term, temporary foster, but needs to find somewhere he can stay longer! His foster says he's been great there, but she is not able to keep him. Friends, a kind lady helped out fostering Dozer to save him from being euthanized, but some expected things have come up to where she can no longer foster. This is by NO fault of Dozer. He has been absolutely wonderful with her and her Cane Corso dogs. We need to find Dozer and adopter OR another temp foster while we work on finding something permanent. There is never a set time frame we can tell fosters how long the dog will be in your care, but I will say we work diligently and as quickly as we can to find permanent placement. Dozer is currently in CT, but transport is available depending how far. Dozer is available for adoption. Currently being fostered in CT. Transport is possibly available! This handsome young boy is a Mastiff (Boerboel)/Pit/GSD. His birthday is 12/22/22. He's up to date with all his vaccines, neutered, and is microchipped. He's fully crate and house trained. He's human and dog friendly. Not sure about cats. He's in a temp foster home right now with 2 adult Cane Corsos and is around several other dogs who visit the home often, as well as, play dates at the dog park. He absolutely loves to play and ideally would do best in a home with other dogs close to his size or larger. He's very strong and has a lot of energy, so probably not a good fit for a home with toddlers only because he may knock them down in play. He's very sweet and shows affection. Loves car rides! He knows some basic commands (sit, come, no, quiet, and back). He has excellent recall off-leash and would make a great jogging or hiking buddy! He isn't reactive to hands near his face, touching of his ears, or touching his backside. This boy is overall a happy-go-lucky pup who would make a wonderful addition to the right family.

Story
Loving, curious, and goofy South African Mastiff (also know as Boerboel). Born 2/17/2022 (2 1/2 years old). She has been raised with another dog, a cat, and two kids. Was crate trained but has not been in a crate in over a year. She sleeps on a dog bed or a space somewhere on the floor where she finds comfortable. She is not spayed. She goes on walks without a leash and does not run away for the most part (occasionally will disobey and walk up to other dogs to sniff). Sensitive to food changes. About 110 lbs. Mario

Story
Well, he’s a very sweet and loving dog. My friend got arrested and left him with his mom but she didn’t want to take care of him so rather than putting him in a shelter she threw him onto me. Of course I don’t mind taking care of him he isn’t a bother at all but unfortunately where I live it doesn’t allow big dogs. He’s super over protective so once he grows a liking to you strangers will have a hard time coming near you🥺. He’s good with kids but he’s really big and when he gets excited he forgets his size and may knock someone over he is 130-140 lbs. Lastly he’s good with small dogs and cats although they aren’t fawned of him lol and big female dogs but he’s not good around bigger male dogs at all. He’s kind of spoiled since he’s always be an only child so he’s not used to being around a bunch of people or other big males without getting super protective. He OBSESSED WITH BALLS/STICKS so make sure you can play catch 😇. He’s a sweetheart, super goofy and loving 🥺❤️.
