Freckles, renamed from Perry by his foster because of his darling white freckles, was saved at the last minute from a high kill CA shelter. He is a gentle fellow, a perfect size at about 65 pounds, and as easygoing as they come with people, but seems to dislike other dogs and should be solo in the home. Hello from George. I recently got to spend time outside of the shelter in an amazing foster home. Now that I have had a taste of being part of a family I am really anxious to find a human of my very own. They should love car rides and meeting new people, playing in the waves and throwing sticks. My ideal human would be seeking a single furry soulmate...you see I am not a fan of sharing my human with other doggos...I want to be your one and only. I am house trained and can't wait to show you my shake and sit. Our life together could be the bomb! Snowball fights, hikes to spot waterfalls, drives for pup cups and sharing popcorn while we watch the Hallmark Channel. I am also the silliest and goofiest guy in the land...laughter and giggles will be on your daily menu. Sigh...wouldn't it be great if I rescued a human and we could spend all our days together? Waylon is very aware of stranger danger, and needs continued guidance on meeting new people. He does best when people can respect his space and don't reach for him. An owner that can advocate this for him is so important! He's continuing to work on riding in the car and being settled and calm while driving. He needs a quiet, low traffic home where he can bond with his people. Waylon does very well at making friends with dogs, with proper introductions and structure! His adoption process includes training, demos, free services and more.
