He is a smart little guy- he can sit, touch, shake and spin like a champ. Now we are working on patience, which he is getting much better at. He is full of contradictions; he likes to know where you are and help you with your daily chores, but also will take his bone and lay on a rug alone and chew on it for 20 minutes. He loves stealing your things around the house, and is very proud and comes to show you the things he finds, wiggling up to you with absolute pride. He does not like this cold, but still loves to play outside with the other dogs. He loves to play, but also loves to be held and snuggled. This boy has had no accidents since the 3 he had in the first few days, and will cry by the door when he needs to go outside. Torben is such a good puppy, and he is incredibly adorable. Those ears! Come on!  1/7/25 Foster Feedback: This cute little chunk is Torben. He has been with us for almost a week now. He is pretty adorable. I mean, look at that ear! When he is tired, he will fall asleep in your arms. When he is not, he is bounding around playing with his foster siblings, playing with toys, and helping with the household chores -like charging through piles of clean laundry and biting your broom to make sure you get everything! Torben sleeps through the night in his kennel like a champ. He eats in his kennel. He takes puppy time outs in his kennel when he needs it. He takes naps in his kennel that, depending on what time it is in the evening, you can barely convince him to come out and go to the bathroom, and most importantly, Torben has never had an accident in his kennel. In fact, he has had only one accident in the house. He even goes to the door to ask to go out now that he has the gist of how things work at our house. We are working on Torben’s teething mouthiness and it's quite easy to redirect him with toys or treats. He can walk on a leash, sit and he can do a spin, but he is a smart little guy so I imagine his trick repertoire will grow steadily. This squishy baby is a real sweetheart. To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org January 24, 2025, 9:16 am

Sugar Plum is a sweet dog that wants to dance her way into her new home.  This smart girl has learned the routine of the house quickly. Sugar sleeps in the office with the resident dogs during work hours but is always up for a play session outside of the office. She is definitely potty trained. Sugar Plum will let her husky side out to sass you when she needs to be let out. Don't try to get her inside in a hurry though! Sugar is absolutely loving the cold weather. She will go outside to lay in the snow when she wants a break from the warm house. We are still working on kenneling all night. Sugar Plum would much rather sleep in bed with us, or on the floor. But she does well in the kennel during the day when we need to be out. She also knows to sit, shake, lay down, and does well on the leash.  Sugar Plum is a vocal girl when you come home as well. She will give you some sweet "awoos" to let you know she missed you! To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org January 24, 2025, 9:16 am
