Story
Available to Foster or Foster to Adopt Located in Paris, Ontario Born December 9th 2024 Adoption fee $700 Hi, I’m Beth, a gorgeous Mastiff mix pup with a heart as big as my paws! My siblings and I were born outside, braving the freezing cold, until we were lucky enough to find a warm place in rescue. Not long after I left my siblings for my very own foster home, I ended up in emergency surgery to treat two inguinal hernias. I was in critical condition, and they weren’t sure I’d make it through, but I wasn’t ready to give up! I fought through it and have been thriving in my foster home ever since. Despite every challenge I’ve faced, I’ve kept fighting, and now I’m ready to find the forever family I fought so hard for! I’m a total cuddle bug—my favorite place to nap is curled up in your lap. With my princess personality, I love being wrapped up in a cozy blanket. When I’m not snoozing, you’ll find me chasing toys, working on treat puzzles, or chewing on peanut butter Kongs. I’m currently living with three other dogs, and we get along great! I haven’t been around cats yet, but I’m pretty sure I’d be just fine with them. Potty training is still a work in progress, so I’ll need a family willing to help me with that. I do great in my crate and sleep soundly through the night, only crying if I need to go potty. I’m the perfect mix of playful companion and snuggly lap dog, and I’m looking for a family who’ll love me as much as I’ll love them. Together, we’ll make all the battles worth it! I am up to date on my vaccines, microchipped and will be spayed prior to moving to my furever home. If you think your home would be a good fit for a spunky girl like me, please fill out the application below. https://form.jotform.com/221626931360250

Story
Available to foster or adopt 3 years old Fostered in London, Ontario Well hey there!! I’m Noelle! And I’m ready to steal your heart! I came from a local First Nations community, where I was living outside with my pups. But luckily, we were all brought into care on December 14, 2024, and now I’m enjoying the good life indoors, all cozy and comfy. My pups don’t need me anymore, and now it’s my turn for some extra love and attention! Unfortunately, I tested positive for both heartworm and Lyme disease, so I am looking for a foster or adoptive home to let me relax while I go through treatment. My medical care is paid for by the rescue. I’m a total sweetheart: calm, loving, and always up for snuggling with my humans. I’m housebroken and great with kids. I’m eager to learn, and I’m pretty proud of my leash skills (they’re a work in progress, but I’m catching on!). I’ll always be near you, hoping for some pets—and maybe a snack or two (I’m very generous that way). I am still learning the ropes when it comes to leash skills but with patience and training, I’m making progress and looking forward to continued improvement! I am reactive to other dogs , so a home with no other pets is a must for me. I need a family who is willing to continue working with me and maybe, hopefully one day I will learn to love some doggy friends! I have been microchipped, am up to date on my vaccines and will be spayed in the near future. If you think your home could be a good fit for me, please apply below! https://form.jotform.com/221626931360250

Story
Baloo is one of 11 siblings born on Family Day. He is a typical little puppy.....eat,.play, poop .sleep (maybe not in that order!). He's active and playful and loves cuddles. He looks just like his momma, Mastiff/German Shepherd and still has lots of growing to do, so some experience with the breeds will be beneficial. He has been dewormed and will be visiting the vet next week for his vaccines and microchip, and will come with a voucher for his neuter done at 6 months, at our vet in Woodstock. To facilitate his neuter surgery, adopters must live with half an hour from Woodstock. His adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references. An application to adopt him can be found on our website www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com. Click on Adopt, then Dogs for Adoption and scroll to the bottom of the page. Do not click on his profile or use Autofill as the application will not submit. All applications are reviewed, and if we feel you might be a good fit for him, you will be contacted to arrange a home visit as well as for permission to speak with your vet. Repeated phone calls and emails with not advance your application. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue and there is no opportunity to meet him before an application has been approved. We thankyou for respecting these guidelines

Story
Ranger is the tallest of the males in his litter of 10. He is vocal and loves to tell you about his day and then tell you again! He loves to be pet and looks at a gate as a challenge, not a barrier. He is a typical busy puppy, who loves to play, run, and wrestle. He will be a large dog, as both mom and dad are over 75 pounds. He is looking for a forever home that has some experience with the food motivated lab and stubborn mastiff. It is recommended that he attend a puppy socialization class to become comfortable with friends who are not his siblings. He will be visiting the vet this week for his vaccines, flea and tick treatment, microchip, and wellness screening. He will come with a voucher for his neuter at 6 months of age at our vet in Woodstock. His adoption fee is $500. You must be 21 years old to adopt and provide vet and personal references.
