This very sweet dog was adopted four years ago, but sadly found himself in the shelter again through no fault of his own. Tank is approximately five years old and a big teddy bear. He should weigh around 80 pounds, but only weighs 63 at this time. He appears to be a mastiff/terrier mix and is a very friendly dog. We do not know why he was abandoned, but we want to make sure his next home is forever. Tank appears to be potty trained and knows basic commands. Although he is now heartworm positive, we will make sure he is treated as soon as he has a foster or forever home. If you like big dogs, he will be your guy as soon as he gains his weight back. Boomer's was adopted after a neighbor had a litter of pups. As his family grew over the year, they welcome in a baby to the home. He is wonderful with the baby but due to his size, they feel he would do best in a home with older children as he can easily knock into the infant without meaning any harm. This handsome brindle guy is great with other dogs but we have yet to see him around cats. He is crate trained and house broken. He would do great with an active home to show him the love and attention he deserves. Boomer has been brought current on vaccinations, he is neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. All he needs now is you!
