Story
Waylon is a 5 yr old mix shepherd/mastiff/huskie mix and weighs about 100 lbs. He is a true best friend and would likely lay down his life to protect his home and his person. He is incredibly keen and super food motivated. Waylon has a lazy, laidback and calm temperament but loves to hike, walk and play. He doesn’t have prey drive, not even for a ball, but does like to find things and ‘work’. He is good with cats and other dogs. Waylon is not fond of children (I get it Waylon, I’m not either). An adult only home is what Waylon is looking for. He would do best in a home with low foot traffic and someone with working or guardian breed experience. Waylon would do great with someone that has a lot of land or on a farm, as he loves to be free and has great recall to his person.   If you are interested in adopting Waylon please complete our online adoption application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/31747/generic For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/ We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $425.00 for adults and $525.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! ##2079733##

Story
I got Legend in August of 2022 from a co-worker. I was told that he was a full blooded pit but it was evident early on that he had mastiff/boxer/SharPei?. He wasn't socialized with people at 6wks, meaning he was born in a backyard shed and never held/played with. He was extremely shy, almost afraid, when I got him at 8wks but loved my sister's pit Legaseigh and my male Collie mix, Jayke. As he grew up, neutered&chipped, he was looking for his place in our pack and tried for alpha from Jayke and that didn't and won't happen. HE'S A SWEETHEART WITH CHILDREN AND ADULTS , ONCE HE GETS TO KNOW YOU. He's super smart, funny(still trying to deal with his own size) and ABSOLUTELY LOVES TO CHASE SQUEAKY BALLS. Bottom line, he needs a forever home that he's s the only alpha because he's s just that big. Hes kennel trained at night and will let you know when its time to go out by howling

Story
Margot was born Sept 2020. I purchased Marg in Oct 2020 from a woman I knew from the gym for $500. She doesnt have papers but I did do an Embark test, 100% english mastiff. 96 lbs. She's house-trained, knows simple commands (no, off, come, sit). She is so sweet, affectionate, and loving. It has been an incredibly difficult decision to make to attempt to rehome Margot. If we are unable to, we are going to keep her. We love her dearly but she is quite anxious and very energetic. I believe our home and lifestyle does nothing but worsen Margot's anxiety. Margot would benefit from a larger space to be able to run around and play in. We have 2 other dogs (1 large, 1 small) and Margot does very well with them. We have not had her around many other dogs. We have 2 kids (5, 9) and Margot is very sweet with them. Margot gets anxious around new people. She has never bitten anyone but when new people come into our home we have to spend a lot of time introducing her and showing her she is safe.
