Meet Rexamous, a 9-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart of gold. He may be a big guy, but don't let his size fool you; he's a gentle giant who loves nothing more than a quiet walk and a cozy spot to nap. Rexamous is looking for a patient and understanding adopter who will respect his boundaries and allow him to adjust at his own pace, especially as he enters his golden years. Rexamous has some skin and ear sensitivities that require ongoing care, but with the right medication and attention, he will thrive. He's a loyal and loving companion who will bring years of joy to the right home. If you're looking for a calm and laid-back friend to cherish during his senior years, Rexamous might be the perfect fit for you. ✨ Primary Color: Black Weight: 102 Age: 9yrs 3mths 1wks

Story
Meet Chula Tula! She is currently 4 months old and about 40 pounds, and we think she may be a Mastiff/Boxer mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Tula’s latest video here: Tula is an amazingly gentle and affectionate puppy. Like her siblings, she is definitely people-oriented, loving to meet new people and gentle with kids of all ages. Her entire litter is extraordinarily loving and devoted – seriously one of the most caring and affectionate litter of puppies we’ve seen to date - such a credit to our amazing foster homes and the love and security they provide!! Tula loves treats. And Tula loves pets and belly rubs. We took those two things and figured that this adorable girl would be in puppy heaven if we combined them…and we were absolutely right. Watch Tula’s video to see her happy, contagious smile and waggy tail. This girl has so much personality, and we can’t wait to see her in a loving forever home! Tula is mostly a soft brown, with black on her muzzle and tail. She has the cutest eyebrows that frame her soft brown expressive eyes. Tula has the best white patch on her chest and a tiny patch of white on her chin – you’ll see this best when she comes in for kisses (which is often, lol, because of her loving nature). Like her siblings, Tula has wrinkles galore – you won’t be able to resist the allure of these endearing wrinkles! Tula loves to play with all eight (8!) of her siblings and adults and kids alike, and would do best in a house with at least one other dog, but we can tell that she wouldn't mind being the sole star of your attention (as long as you promise belly rubs and treats, that is.) Tula is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65f7c90ccfaab3be430c8e7e Please email Tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
We hope you're okay with strangers stopping to compliment your dog because that's exactly what's going to happen when you and Tank are out on the town. Honestly, he is going to become a local celebrity so be prepared to get to know your neighbors. The best part though, Tank is going to love it too! This is a friendly boy, who greets gently, welcomes pets, and is happy to let people admire his good looks. He is magnetic and matches his good looks with a fantastic personality. Truly a smart, handsome, gentle giant. We introduced Tank to a variety of dogs- big and small with different energy levels, he definitely preferred medium to large dogs, which feels so understandable given his size. The first dog he met was Sugar, a confident, vocal, playful pittie girl and goodness, as soon as Tank saw her we could see the goofy puppy in him. He came alive and was so excited to play! Her play-style and size were a great fit for him! Tank is currently being fostered in a home with four other dogs. He often gets picked on my the English bulldog, which is why he has a small booboo on his head you’ll see in his video. This is no fault of his, English bulldogs are known for this approach and it just doesn’t suit the gentle baby that Tank is. Tank would do best in a home as the only dog or paired with a large, submissive female that matches his energy. On top of being a people magnet, lover boy, he is also cat tolerant! His foster home has cats that he is respectful of and when we introduced him to our housecat he was a perfect gentleman! Avoidant and a bit aloof, not at all interested in pushing his way to the cat or insisting on smelling him. To go with that magnetism, Tank is great on leash, he walks close and stays responsive to his handler. Even with this, a confident handler is important. He has a well balanced energy about him but will require mental stimulation and exercise daily to stay healthy and happy. Tank knows a few basic commands and is treat motivated so teaching him new tricks should be an easy and fulfilling experience. Tanks foster family has shared with us that he is crate trained, goes into a crate with ease and is quiet- no protesting from him. They also shared he is house-trained. Yay you! Sure you may need to give him a quick tour of the potty-places but no potty-training needed. Last but not least, Tank is a big boy, you don’t need me to tell you that but I know you are dying to know how much something like him weighs. Ready? 130 lbs! He is 1.5 years old so this is his full-grown size. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it’s always a mystery but its pretty safe to say he has some mastiff in there, or as most of us said- The Sandlot dog! Adopt your own lovable “beast” and get ready for the big kisses this boy is ready to share! If there are any details we didn’t cover or you have questions about the adoption process, let us know! We are willing to test Tank with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know! Story
Meet Tito! He is currently about 25 pounds, about 4 months old, and we think he may be a Mastiff mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Tito's video here: If you were expecting Tito to be anything OTHER THAN a big softie, you would be misinformed. This adoring puppy loves everybody and everything, and has kisses ready to go at a moment’s notice! We love his fun and joyful attitude, and his strong drive to show YOU affection is guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time. Plus, have we mentioned THOSE EARS?! (We adore his floppy ears!) Like his siblings (and most puppies), Tito is treat-motivated. He sometimes misses out on treats because his siblings tend to snatch his first, so we make doubly sure that this adorable boy gets his fair share (which is a lot, lol). Tito loves toys, especially the soft stuffies, and it is so much fun to watch him toss them in the air to play. Tito is one of a litter of 8 puppies picked up by Beaumont Animal Services, and we are so glad that he is in our rescue program for a chance at a loving forever home! Tito is affectionate and friendly to everyone, especially kids – nothing will stop this dog from meeting you and giving you a few licks to know that he’s glad to meet you too. He is used to playing with his brothers and sisters, and does well around other dogs of all sizes. Tito is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Story
Gizmo is a wonderful 8 year old St Bernard mix. We’re not sure of his weight but think around 60lbs. Gizmo loves kids and cats and other dogs. Owner says he’s the best snuggle Buddy. He’s got the looks of the St Bernard without the size.. He a good old boy and needs a new home through no fault of his own. He’s in our owner placement program so we only know what the owners tell us. He’s got a a broken front left leg. Owners say that he can be grumpy at times when his leg hurts. He’s not neutered yet but the cost of the neuter is included in his adopting donation of $275. Gizmo would make a wonderful addition to a family. He’s a mommas boy. He loves being inside and spending time with his family. He loves to play catch and go on walks. If you’re interested in adopting Gizmo please fill out an application at sccpets.com (at no cost or obligation to you). If you’re approved, we’ll put you in touch with the owner. Thank you for choosing a rescue. Even ifs not Gizmo. Rescues are the absolute best.August 19, 2024, 6:18 am
