She has never bitting anyone. She loves to go to the park and play fetch. It’s her favorite thing to do other then sunbathe. She is house trained. She is in good health. She eats 2-3 times a day. Story
Meet Emily, she’s a French Bulldog/Chihuahua/Dachshund/Poodle mix of some sort. 3 1/2 years old. House broken, very sweet. She’s going to do best in a calm home with no other pets. She’s more like a good companion for an older person or couple. An empty nester or retiree would love her sweet nature and affection. She’s all vetted, spayed, and microchipped $350 adoption fee

Story
Tiger and Roxy are beautiful American Bulldog and Catahoula mixes. Tiger is 3.5 years old, Roxy is three. Tiger is hearing. Roxy is deaf. They are a bonded pair. Tiger is blue merle with one blue eye. Roxy is red merle with one blue eye. They are really unusual looking dogs. The merle in their coats comes from being crossed with Catahoula. I love this breed combo...Ambulls make great family pets and Catahoulas can be really hilarious. And these two are true to their breed mix. I cannot walk past them without smiling. They were surrendered to a high kill shelter together because their landlord made the owners give up their dogs. Both dogs were intact, and were barking when they were alone all day. (Roxy was in heat, which is what caused the frustration barking....they are actually pretty quiet dogs) They both weigh in at about 80-90 pounds, even after some slimming down, they are big dogs. They were indoor couch potatoes. They are both extremely affectionate dogs, and love to be with people. They are a little shy at first, as they haven't had a lot of socialization. It takes them about five minutes to know they are safe, and let the kisses begin. Everywhere they go, people point at them because they are such handsome and unique looking dogs. We absolutely will not entertain breaking up this highly bonded pair. They must be adopted together. We were told that Tiger was dog aggressive. He isn't. He can be barky protective if he thinks Roxy is threatened, and we've never seen as much as a growl from him. They should be adopted as the only two dogs in the home, please. They will be a lot happier. I can't articulate how incredibly nice these dogs are. They are a very special pair, unique in looks, overflowing with sweetness of temperament. They are like two little cartoon characters that live to make their people smile....and they sure do.  If you think you're the right lucky family to give these two a lifetime of love and security, please come and meet them, and prepare to fall in love. They are amazing. To meet Tiger and Roxy, please complete our online application for adoption: www.deafdogrescueofamerica.org/adoption-application.html   Please note that we are unable to respond to inquiries, emails or phone calls. Our adoption process starts with completion/submission of an application for adoption. All applications are reviewed as quickly as we can, and our adoption process is not first come, first served. Story
We are absolutely devastated, but after trying anything that would make our dogs get along, they just don’t. She is a loyal dog to her humans. She absolutely loves chasing her ball. We are a family of 4 and have had her since she was about 9 wks old. However, we had an older dog first and while our intentions were for them to be companions and friends, they are not. We’ve gone through extensive measures to try to make this work, but alas, I am at my breaking point. She needs to be in a home with NO other dogs. Our kids are grown so I can’t say how she’d be around little kids. And she’s never really around different dogs. She barks at strangers, but not aggressive to people. Just has to warm up. She’s been thru dog training. Sadly, we’ve gone on too long living with unpredictability, risking one of them being seriously injured. 😞 She needs to live her life in great hands, spoiled and loved, the only pet, and someone who will keep in touch.
