Story
Joey is 2.5 years old, and he is a miniature pinscher, poodle, chihuahua mix. He’s around 19 pounds. He is an anxious dog, and I’ve had difficulties with leaving him at home by himself. He currently takes Prozac for this. He can be nervous with new people. He might bark a little bit when he meets someone new, or won’t let them pet him at first. After a while, he is able to warm up and is able to become very friendly and loving, and has been able to form loving attachments with people in my life. He has a focal seizure disorder called Fly Biting. He sees a vet neurologist. Joey is currently on two medications for this and is considered stable. He is an extremely active dog, who needs to be in a home with more than one person, maybe with another dog in home around his size. He is well socialized with dogs, loves to play and run and go on walks, and is very loving and affectionate. Goofy and sweet personality. He's very smart and with extra training I believe he can improve his anxiety

Story
Ladron is a friendly, active little fellow, with happy goofball energy. He is young enough to be playful, but mature enough to hang out and relax with his person. Ladron can be initially shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. He has been at the shelter since 09/23 and gets along great with his "pack" here at the shelter, but would love to have a home of his own! (He previously lived with his hooman, along with his buddy "Coco" who is also at the shelter. Sadly his owner passed away and Ladron and Coco came to Jelly's to find a new furever home.) Ladron is great with other dogs, and loves to go for leashed walks. He will be a great addition to any home where he can go for daily walks and get all the love and affection he deserves! If interested in meeting Ladron please complete an application at jellysplace.org and we will contact you to set up an introduction. Ladron is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
