Dex is fully grown at 23 pounds, and he is ready to meet his forever family! Dex is always happy to make new friends everywhere he goes! Dex would love a fenced-in yard where he can get his steps in (don’t worry, he doesn’t need a Fitbit. He says he keeps count in his head). He is very playful and bouncy, and cannot wait to make the perfect sidekick! Dex would do great in a home with older children who can match his energy, and he would love a family who likes adventure. Hiking, camping, going to the beach, neighborhood walks—Dex is happy to do it all and would love to be a part of your active family. You might even catch him on your Peloton when you aren’t using it. Pacer, a black and tan Miniature Pinscher, about 4.5 years old on 5/19/24, was rescued 2 years ago. He was morbidly obese and appeared to be in a catatonic state when we got him. He was so terrified that he completely shut down and moved so little that we were concerned that he wasn’t even breathing. We took him to the vet to bring him up to date on vaccinations, but decided to wait until he was less terrified before we put him through the trauma of being neutered. He was neutered and vaccinations updated on 5/31/24. Pacer, unfortunately, tested positive for heartworms and is on the slow kill, doxycycline protocol. Pacer will do best in a quiet home with an experienced dog owner. Due to his fearfulness, he will not be considered for homes with young children. Pacer is located in Arkansas. He currently weighs about 15 pounds. His adoption donation is $500 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to give Pacer the loving home he deserves and help him develop into the confident little guy he can become, please complete the first step in the adoption process by filling out an online adoption application. DOB 5-5-2024 Gideon is a very handsome kid! He loves to play with the other little dogs, likes toys and of course attention! Gideon is up to date on all shots and medical for his age. His tail has been docked and dew claws removed but has beautiful all natural ears! When Gideon grows up he will be around 10 to 12 pounds. His adoption fee is 400.00 and his transport charge is 165.00. HEARTS is our transport service and they are wonderful! They run every other week and all delivery stops on the East Coast are on Saturday. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. Archer is a wonderful pup. He's great with kids, people, other animals, dogs and cats. He's extremely playful. Archer is in his element when able to run in a big field. He would like a home where he has frequent attention during the day and frequent walks for exercise. Archer needs help with crate and house-training. He has some issues with whimpering very loudly and separation anxiety, despite lots of care, calming methods and aids, and professional training. The end result is, he just needs a lot of in-person attention. Please be aware of his needs for exercise and attention during the day, he would do best in a home with no more than 3-4 hours by himself during the day.
