Initially shy around strangers, Thunder takes time to feel safe and requires a patient adopter who can help him overcome his fearfulness. He is best suited for a calm home without frequent visitors or high levels of activity outside the home. Thunder experiences car sickness and would need medication for long trips. Once trust is established, Thunder reveals his affectionate nature. He loves to cuddle and prefers sleeping close to his family, though he can be crated if necessary. Fully housebroken, Thunder is a playful dog who enjoys games of fetch, chew toys, and spending time outdoors. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play freely. His friendly demeanor extends to other dogs, making him an excellent companion for a household with canine siblings. Thunder's ideal adopter will be understanding of his need for a consistent and reassuring environment. With time, patience, and love, Thunder will flourish as a loyal and loving member of his forever family. Now that I am on arthritic medication, I love short walks, I bounce around to play and if you are real lucky, I will crawl in your lap and want snuggles. I love just being in the room with you, I like the big office dog here, but I am not so sure about dogs my size or smaller. Due to my arthritis I prefer no young children under 10yrs. My adoption fee is $225

Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a 'Meet and Greet' then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go.
