Story
Meet Lilly, an enchanting 4.5-month-old miniature pinscher mix who is bound to win you over with her charm! 🐾😍 With her striking features and vibrant personality, Lilly is the epitome of a playful puppy. She is incredibly affectionate, with a knack for giving sweet kisses that will brighten your day and make you feel loved. One of Lilly’s most endearing traits is her desire to be by your side. She loves to follow you around, always eager to be your little shadow, whether you’re in the kitchen, the living room, or out in the yard. This loyal behavior showcases her affectionate nature and her desire to be part of everything you do, making her an inseparable companion. Currently, Lilly is living the good life on a farm, surrounded by a variety of animals including pigs, goats, horses, chickens, cats, and other dogs. She thrives in this lively environment, demonstrating her friendly and adaptable nature as she enjoys the company of all her furry and feathered friends. Lilly’s social butterfly personality shines through as she eagerly engages with everyone around her, whether it’s chasing after a playful goat or snuggling up with a fellow dog. Lilly is also wonderful with children, making her an ideal addition to a family looking for a loving and energetic pet. With her high energy levels, she needs plenty of exercise and playtime, so she would benefit from having another dog in the home or an active family who can keep up with her playful antics. Story
Chloe is the best little girl ever. Sweet and friendly and social, in spite of the fact that she had to have an eye removed, do to an injury that the prior owner did not take care of. She was taken from a home, along with little Jax. Both were so skinny and covered in fleas. Poor Chloe had to be on food and antibiotics, for several days, til the vets could even do surgery on her. Then, she had to get surgery several weeks later to be spay, for the vets did not want to do everything to her at once. Well, she recovered like a champ, gets along fine with just the one eye, and is just the best little girl. Chloe is only about 3 years old and a solid 10 lbs of love and affection. Her coat is longer and softer than that of a Min-Pin. She is totally fine being the only dog in a home - she just wants to be with her person and dance for you!! A must meet, for this girl will steal your heart for sure. Her eye area looks better now, than in the photos. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   March 14, 2025, 5:58 pm

Story
** Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Leeju👋 She was found on the street in South Korea at just 2 months old and sent to a high-risk city shelter along with her four siblings. Luckily, she was rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and sent to her foster home 2 months later. Her foster family has been taking good care of her since, and she’s been living peacefully with the resident dog. LeeJu is now more than ready for a furever home! • Personality: Friendly, Curious, Cautious LeeJu is such a friendly and lovable pup with a curious and cautious personality. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. • Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She is calm even when kids pet her. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered! • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly using the bathroom outdoors but sometimes indoors when she can’t go outside. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good. • Car Rides: Not anymore. She got better at car rides. Story
My name is Butters. I am one of 6 of my litter - the Christmas 2024 litter. 4 of us have been adopted. I am an adorable terrier mix. My mom is a 17 lb terrier/min pin mix. Me? Well, well, at 3 months old, I am 18 lbs. I am kind of the odd man out as my siblings are about 10 lbs each. It's kind of funny! I do have long legs though. I might be the biggest but I am just a little baby. I love to be held, cuddled and I love to play. I also have some brains! I am very treat motivated as basically every puppy is. I am ready to go to a home with a variety of things - kids? fine! cats? those are cool too! dogs? I love dogs and could use a role model. A person or a family who is willing to train me like any other puppy - housebreaking, leash walking, obedience... all of that stuff I need as I grow. The rescue is stumped on my size when I am older... I could just be an early bloomer. Prediction is around 45 to 50 lbs. Here is a link to the application if you are interested in me! https://asecondchanceforziva.org/adopt/adoption-process-application/

Story
Our little Apple 🍎 is searching for a teacher 🧑‍🏫 Literally actually, this scared stray was hanging around a school and approached a teacher for guidance. She is very nervous and defensive at first meeting new people, and looks like a ferocious little watchdog, but is desperate to connect and bond and warms up quickly. She looks like she recently had puppies sadly, and we think about 3-4 years old, under 15lbs full grown. We aren’t quite sure of her breed- maybe chihuahua, min pin, doxie, Italian greyhound… she looks a bit like a patterdale terrier. Or a mini black lab puppy 🤷‍♀️ 😝 She’s been getting along with other small dogs in foster and a lovable lapdog once she trusts. Email njwoof@cs.com to meet Apple 🍎 in Northern NJ Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ. To streamline adoptions, all communication before, during, and after the adoption process is done through email only: we have limited volunteers able to return phone calls. Submit an application from our website www.secondchance.petfinder.com to speed up the adoption process and email any questions to us at njwoof@cs.com. Please check your email regularly for next steps. All our dogs reside in foster care in Northern NJ until adoption and we do not have a central shelter location. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.

Story
Pacer, a black and tan Miniature Pinscher, about 4.5 years old on 5/19/24, was rescued 2 years ago. He was morbidly obese and appeared to be in a catatonic state when we got him. He was so terrified that he completely shut down and moved so little that we were concerned that he wasn’t even breathing. We took him to the vet to bring him up to date on vaccinations, but decided to wait until he was less terrified before we put him through the trauma of being neutered. He was neutered and vaccinations updated on 5/31/24. Pacer, unfortunately, tested positive for heartworms and is on the slow kill, doxycycline protocol. Pacer will do best in a quiet home with an experienced dog owner. Due to his fearfulness, he will not be considered for homes with young children. Pacer is located in Arkansas. He currently weighs about 15 pounds. His adoption donation is $465 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to give Pacer the loving home he deserves and help him develop into the confident little guy he can become, please complete the first step in the adoption process, which to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here.We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. After you submit your application, please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer will contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
