Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cody Pierre, 3 year old, 11 pound, red and white French Poodle boy, is in every sense the definition of a “brown-noser”. He could be the literal picture beside the informal term with his big brown nose as well as the definition with his need to be a people pleaser. Sadly, Cody spent his first three years as an Amish breeder but he does not hold that against anyone. Instead he presents as an equal opportunity lover being good with men, women and children. He currently lives happily in a pack of dogs that includes big, small, male and female. He gets along with them all. Though not currently living with cats, he did pass his cat test with flying colors when exposed to several. Cody is a great little walker and is happy to walk several miles. He is always up for a road trip, snuggling on the couch with whoever is available, and is honestly just the best bed buddy, never moving until he is told time to get up. Living in a home as part of a family is new to him. He is working on his house manners. Until he understands the new rules he is comfortable wearing a belly band. He already grasps that pooping is for outdoors. He quickly learned to go in and out of the doggie door. Oh and in case you are wondering about that picture of Cody doing a front paw stand, that is the way he chooses to pee a lot of the time! A trick dog in training? As with all H2H pups, Cody is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. He will even be given a dental before going to his new home. If you think that Cody Pierre might be a dog that you want to be considered for, apply today at Haven to Home Canine Rescue. Cody is lovingly being fostered in Northumberland, PA 17857 If you have questions, please contact his foster mom: margaretwilliamsharvey@gmail.com. . He will be ready to take home and love! We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
