Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sandy is a 7-year-old Sheepadoodle with a heart as big as her fluffy paws. She is, without a doubt, one of the sweetest dogs her foster mom has ever met. Sandy adores being close to her favorite humans, always seeking out pets, snuggles, and companionship throughout the day and evening. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has shown no prey drive, making her a great candidate for a home with a feline friend. As a retired breeder, Sandy is experiencing home life for the first time, and she’s adjusting beautifully—though she can still be a little shy with new experiences. She’s working diligently on her house-training skills and would thrive with a patient family committed to helping her succeed. When Sandy arrived at Haven to Home, she was severely matted and needed a drastic groom for her comfort and health. Once her coat grows back, she’ll be absolutely adorable! Regular grooming will be essential to keep her looking and feeling her best. This gentle girl is a dream on a leash, walking right by your side and looking to her handler for guidance. Sandy is scheduled to be spayed in early February and will be ready for her forever home by February 12th. If you're searching for a loving, affectionate companion, Sandy might be the perfect match for you!Sandy is up to date with vaccines, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  She is being fostered near Sunbury, PA.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
Royal came to us in bad shape, he was extremely matted and thin. He needs a home that able to keep up with his grooming and make sure he never has to expierence being in that condition again. He is shy and has a bit of an attitude problem but that is understandable with what kind of home he previously had. He would do best in a calm home with no small children.

Story
Life has gotten so much better for 3 little poodles that were rescued in February and it’s only going to get better as they look forward to becoming cherished family members in their new forever homes. Hazel, whose date of birth is 11/17/18, was listed as a red poodle on her papers. She is incredibly sweet but has been somewhat timid and is slowly learning to trust. Her ear mites are cleared up and after being brought up to date on vaccinations, she had a much-needed grooming. Her groomer sent us a before and after picture of her, and remarked that Hazel was so timid she wouldn’t look at her initially but after the groom it was like Hazel thought, you made me feel so much better, you may be someone I can trust and looked at her. Hazel was spayed and had a hernia repair as well, which we had not been aware of, and a dental on 3/6/25. On 2/25/25 she weighed 8.9 pounds. Hazel is heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. Due to her small size, Hazel will only be considered for homes with older children. Hazel’s adoption donation is $665 which includes the $165 transport fee. If you would like to adopt this precious little sweetheart, who is currently being fostered in Arkansas, and give her the kind of life she so richly deserves, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Story
Life has gotten so much better for 3 little poodles that were rescued in February and it’s only going to get better as they look forward to becoming cherished family members in their new forever homes. Tina, whose date of birth is 4/23/18, was listed as a red poodle on her papers. Tina is a very social little girl and is the first one to run up and ask to be picked up. Even though all 3 had ear mites, Tina’s case was the worst. The ear mites were cleared up which helped these babies feel so much more comfortable. After being brought up to date on vaccinations all three were given a much-needed grooming. Their coats were so matted, the groomer had to shave them pretty close, but this also seemed to make them feel better. Our groomer sent us a before and after picture which is shared with you in Tina’s pictures. Tina had a dental on 3/5/25 and had to have 4 teeth removed. She had a spay and hernia repair on 3/11/25. On 2/25 she weighed 10.6 pounds and needs to lose a pound or so. She is up to date on vaccinations, is heartworm negative and is being kept on heartworm and flea and tick prevention to maintain her good health. Tina’s adoption donation is $665 which includes the $165 transport fee. Story
*quiet arguing* "I don't want to", "you can do it", "but, I'm scared", "you'll be ok, I promise". Um, hi... I'm Abigail. Public speaking isn't really my thing, but my foster mom says that I'm really brave, so here I am. I don't know why she calls me brave because I'm scared of everything. But I'm trying really hard to figure out this whole "being a pet" thing. It's time for me to search for my forever family. My ideal family would be home often, since I get real anxious when I am all alone. I would prefer a home with no young children, but I would love some doggy siblings! Please consider me if you're looking to add another canine to your family. Abigail is a 2 year old mini goldendoodle who was surrendered by a commercial breeder. She is extremely timid and needs a patient, understanding home that can continue to work on her confidence. A fence is required for this sweet girl, no exceptions. Abigail does not do well on a leash or lead, which causes her to panic and try to bolt. Having another dog around makes her feel more comfortable, especially if they don't mind her being a bit clingy. Abigail is up to date on shots, preventatives, microchipped and spayed. She is still working on potty training, but does well when taken out often. Crates are her arch nemesis, but needed for when she is left alone. When she's anxious, she likes to chew so shoes and wires need to be kept away and proper toys available. Abigail is being fostered in Sinking Spring and all members of the household will need to travel there for a meet and greet. Will you consider opening your heart to give this girl a lifetime of happy memories? Please apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com/adopt

Story
Meet Mama Sammy’s SWEET BABIES!!!! These sweet little puppies were born in rescue on 1/16/2025. After a DNA test we found out that are 53% mini poodle, 18% chihuahua and smaller percentage of a few other breeds. Tulip is 7 weeks old and almost ready to find her forever home. She is super sweet and loves to snuggle, she also likes to explore. She has a blast playing with her litter mates and the smaller dogs in her foster home. She has also been around cats and hasn’t paid any attention to them. She loves playing with toys, soft rubber toys, stuffies, and playing in the ball pit. We are working on litter training them and they have been doing pretty good with catching on, they do have accidents outside the box but it’s a good start. They are eating wet puppy food currently and will be introduced to dry puppy food in the coming days. Due to their age they are not altered and will be adopted out on a spay/neuter contract that comes with an additional fee on top of the adoption fee. This spay/neuter fee is 100% refundable when the contract is followed. They have all had their first round of distemper, this is the only vaccine they are currently old enough to have. They have also had their first round of dewormer and will have a second round before they are able to be adopted. If you think one of these sweet little babies would make a perfect addition to your family, apply today!!! These sweet babies are being foster in Berks County and potential adopters will need to come to this area for a meet and greet with all family members and current residential dogs. www.zoeshouserescue.com Zoe’s House Rescue Kennel License 9117 Sinking Spring, PA 19608
