Tiger is an all brindled boy with a protection dog attitude,but he is great alone. Quiet in the yard and in a home, but with a group of dogs will bark. He loves to please you. He loves to be loved and cuddle. Tiger still needs to have bones and toys to chew on and loves to play. Walks well on leash, is treadmill trained, can sit and lay down. He is an alpha and will dominate without proper leadership. He listens well and loves praise. He loves to run and exercise. I sometimes think he would be best as a only pet. Can consider a home with other pets with the right household. Grew up with a rescue cat and many other dogs of all ages. I like to be present when he is with other dogs. He does well with the senior dogs in my household, but with too many same age dogs, Tiger will take advantage of the party time. He loves to be outside, and with the right temperature he could probably be outside a lot. If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Brody is a new arrival from a local shelter. He weighs 16 lbs and is about about 7years old. He is a sweetheart. He takes a day to warm up and he gets much more comfortable. Brody obviously was not well cared for and had serious flea-related dermititis. He is very quiet and likes to sit in your lap and snuggle. He has little experience with leashing but was very gentle and sweet.He loves the water hose! He loves getting wet...too cute! He will help you water your plants! immy is being fostered in PA. Jimmy is a special little guy, a 14 week old Mini Poodle, who was dealt a bad hand physically but nothing is stopping him from being happy and enjoying life. Jimmy is working on house breaking and coming along. We are starting to learn SIT and COME. He follows his foster Mommy all over and just loves to be with people and other pups to play with and snuggle. We call Jimmy a little goat because he likes to launch himself in the air at you or another pup. Jimmy is sight impaired, one eye did not develop and the other is smaller than normal but he does have enough sight to get around ok. Then there is his wee heart. Jimmy has two abnormalities and is being put on a beta-blocker to slow heart rate. Basically, there is a hole in the heart (VSD) and it is pushing blood through the right side into the lungs. Then, there is the pulmonic valve that is not opening enough to push blood to the lungs. So two abnormalities, but in a way working together: were one is not putting enough blood to lungs the other is putting blood to lungs. The cardiologist put Jimmy’s prognosis as guarded. He needs a re-check in 9 months to see where things stand. Possibly, at that time they can do a balloon procedure to open the valve. Also, there is a chance as he grows the hole could shrink but that is uncertain. As for Jimmy, don’t tell him he has any “issues”. He says, “I’m a puppy and I like to play with other dogs, run around chasing after my foster Mommy, and just have lots of fun. Life, bring it on”. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

This precious little girl came to out rescue from a situation where little dogs were running loose in a neighborhood. The dogs were all badly matted and needed immediate help. 3 rescues stepped up to help get all of the dogs off of the property. Bitbit was just 6 weeks old at the time. Jer foster mom says that she has the cutest personality. She is super snuggly but loves to play and get the zoomies. Bitbit is about 5 months old and her adoption fee is $400. ##2045032##
