Story
My name is Burnie. I am a very cheerful three-year-old male Poodle, seeking a loving family who can provide me with the attention and that a delightful companion like myself deserves. I do play at times, but to be honest I would rather just sit in your lap and be loved. If you have love and time for a boy like me please put in an application at anewdawnpetadoption.org

Story
Meet Covie, an adult dog bursting with energy and charm. His playful spirit is infectious, filling any room with joy and laughter. Yet, Covie is more than just a ball of fun. He`s also incredibly friendly, always eager to make new friends, both human and canine. He`s a hit at the dog park and is friendly and playful with teenagers. He`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old because he can be a little picky about how he is handled. He`s leash trained but never quite mastered house training. He knows the sit and off commands. His favorite activities are car rides, fetch, running, and toys. Covie is a cuddle bug too, always ready for a good snuggle session. Despite his outgoing nature, Covie can be a bit shy, especially around strangers. But once he warms up, his easygoing nature shines through. Covie is a 16-pound burglar alarm, a great watchdog, always protective of his loved ones. His alertness, combined with his wariness of strangers, makes him an excellent guardian. He was only given because his humans no longer wanted a dog. Adopt Covie and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend, a playful companion, and a devoted protector. (tw 4/19/2025)

Story
Meet Lewis, a senior dog with a heart full of youthful energy. Despite his age, Lewis is a bundle of joy, always ready to play and explore. He weighs 15 pounds and enjoys car rides, running, toys, and chase. His intelligence shines through in his curiosity and quick learning. He knows the come, no, and down commands. He`s friendly and cuddly, seeking affection with a shy charm that`s impossible to resist. Lewis is also quite excitable, greeting every day with an easygoing attitude and quiet but boundless enthusiasm. As a protective companion, he`ll make you feel safe and loved. Lewis is amiable with other dogs but might be possessive of his food so you`ll need to bring your dog to meet him. Otherwise, he is easygoing, friendly, and playful with other small dogs. He has a special fondness for children, making him a perfect addition to any family as he is friendly, playful and jumpy with them. He might need some guidance with house training and leash walking but he`s not too old to learn. Lewis has a penchant for digging and he might beg for a treat or two, but his endearing eyes make it hard to resist. This lovable senior may be heading towards his golden years, but his spirit is as vibrant as a puppy`s. He`s a testament to the saying, `Age is just a number`. He was only given up because his family moved. Adopt Lewis and let his playful energy, loving nature, and protective instincts bring joy and warmth into your home. (tw 4/22/2025)Are you a senior too? CAP offers free adoptions to adopters over 60 if the animal is over seven years old!

Story
Beatrice is approx a 6-7 year old poodle mix that weighs 13lbs. Beatrice is a little shy and is still learning trust but with time, and patience you will win her trust. She's looking for someone who can be patient and consistent, giving her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable. Its important to go slow and let her come out of her shell on her own terms. Once that happens she’s very loving, sweet and appreciative. Loves to lay on the couch snuggled very close, gently persistent in asking for attention.. Loves other dogs her size. She will need another dog her size in her new home. She is potty trained and is working on her leash training. She loves to run and explore in the backyard. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm & fecal neg and had a dental. Adoption fee is: $550.00 NO small children under 12, NO big dogs, NO swimming pools unless completely fenced off, and NO doggie door due to her size. Beatrice is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, fecal and Heartworm negative ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
