Story
Meet Heidi, a sweet 21 lb. Mini Schnauzer who's looking for her forever home. She's super chill, loves hanging out with her humans, and gets along great with other calm dogs. Heidi is the momma of the pack at heart, always ready for cuddles or a nap on the couch or her dog bed. She is crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night, but if you want her beside you in bed, she'll be more than happy with that too!
She is leash-trained and enjoys short walks and is also potty-trained. She will wait by the door and speak until you let her out. Heidi's an affectionate girl who would be a great fit for anyone looking for a sassy but loving companion. You'll always have someone to talk to with her as she is a good listener and sometimes talks back too! lol. She lights up the room with her excitement and I know would be great in any home where she is spoiled.
She was a former breeding dog, and her coat was in rough condition because of a poor diet and lack of proper nutrition. Her puppies took a lot of nutrients from her during pregnancy, but unfortunately, her breeder didn’t provide the care she needed to recover. As a result, she developed a bacterial skin infection and inflammation, which required two shots. Thankfully, she has been improving well, with noticeable progress in her hair growth and skin health. Heidi has been up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and was spayed. During her spay she also had a dental procedure, ears examined. She has been cleared by our vet to find her forever home.
Her adoption fee is $2,500. It covers her spay (she was in heat at time of spay), microchip (lifetime registration), vaccinations, dental procedure, and extra anesthesia/iv fluid time. The extra care and training we have personally done since the time she has been with us until she finds her forever home.
We have a transport leaving for AZ/CO end of April/May and would love to include her on this trip for the right home.
We're located in Hesperia, CA. but can arrange transportation anywhere in the U.S. if needed so long as the adopter covers the cost. Email us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. We will be in contact shortly. Thank you!
