Story
We have a transport on 8/24/24 to Norcal and OR. We would love to add her to our trip for the right family. Meet Ayla. She is a purebred miniature schnauzer. She is salt and pepper in color. She weighs aprox 13 lbs. but is not yet full grown as she is 7.5 months of age. She is currently at a very healthy weight ❤️ Yes, her tail is docked as I know it's a question we get all the time for this particular breed! She is set to be spayed on 8/20/24 and once we have her exact weight, it'll be updated. She will be spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped, and thourely examined and cleared by our vet prior to adoption. If anything is needed such as a dental cleaning, etc. it will be done as our vet will want her to be 100 percent prior to releasing her. She is house trained, and understands outside to potty. She is crate trained. She sleeps in her crate at night, and will nap in there during the day as well. She is working on leash confidence as it's still pretty new to her, but will master it in time 💕 She is wonderful with all dogs, and cats alike. She is very sweet, and outgoing when it comes to other animals as she just wants to be their friend. She is NOT a barker; but will talk to you on occasion and will alert you of unfamiliar noises sometimes as she is more on watch to see what friends, human or not, are there to visit her. She is very smart, aims to please, and is always ready to take on the day whether it's lounging around the house, a road trip around town, or to be by your side while you are tending to things around the home or yard. She loves to play, and loves chasing balls. She is very easy going, loving, and playful. She is AMAZING in the car, so if you are looking for a companion road side, she is definitely your girl. Loves being in your lap, or at your feet when she can, but is very versatile and independent outiside of you and will simply lay in her crate or play with a fave toy near by. She is not needy, by any means. She truly is EASY in almost every way and will make an incredible friend to someone ❤️❤️❤️ She loves her spa days with our groomer as well, so that's always a fun day for her 💓 Her adoption fee will be on our website under her adoption listing at breadoflifek9refuge.org. It will cover her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, general anesthesia, exam with our vet, time, care, grooming costs, and training since with us. If anything in addition is needed at time of spay such as a dental cleaning, extractions, in-heat spay, or so forth then additional fees will be added to help offset those costs.

Story
Sweet Berlin is one of the German pups! They are half Mini Schnauzer and the other half cuteness galore! Two sister moms gave birth on the same day... a total of 18 puppies!! Then due to emergency the puppies had to be surrendered. Berlin is a sweet girl who has been in a foster home for several weeks. She loves people and other dogs. She'll make a great family pet. Puppies are a 13+ year commitment, so please think long and hard before adding a puppy to your family. Puppies require someone home every 2 to 3 hours for consistent training and socialization. If you are truly ready for a great, demanding, fun-loving puppy, apply today!

Story
Sweet Beau, ( Beauregard ) is waiting to steal your heart! He is a 1-year-old, 12 pound, white and black, Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle) mix ? with huge dark eyes. He is a vocal boy and requires a home where he will not be left alone for long periods. He will bark! No apartments He was cast matted when he was brought to the sanctuary. We could see the surprise on his face when he was freed from his matts. He spent several minutes rubbing his face and body on the ground. No more neglect for this boy! He will require regular professional grooming. He is shy but blossoming right before our eyes. He may require some house training but he is off to a good start. He may require leash training. He is using the doggie door. He has not shown an interest in play but that could change in a home environment. He LOVES his toys and will carry them around in his mouth. He gets along well with other gentle dogs. He has been neutered, is currently vaccinated and microchipped. Are you that special family to give sweet Beau a home? He will be your BEST FRIEND. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner. 1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. For Petfinders ( scroll down to the biography then click the adoption link) http://animalfriendsconnect.org/adoption-application-dogs/ 5. For Adopt a Pet (scroll way down past “Ask about me”) you will see the biography and underneath that will be the adoption questionnaire link.
