Story
Piper is a 12-year-old female miniature schnauzer with a calm and loving personality. She gets along well with other dogs and has been fine with cats. At around 30 pounds, she is a bit on the heavier side but enjoys short walks and lounging on the couch. She recently had an eye infection in her left eye that is improving with treatment. However, she does have chronic dry eye and will need ointment applied twice a day for the rest of her life. Despite this, her vision and hearing are still good. Piper is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. She is friendly with everyone, does not bark excessively, and would be a perfect companion for a senior or someone with limited mobility. If you are looking for a sweet and easygoing dog to share your home, Piper would be a wonderful addition. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $250 and you can adopt me at www.polkadogz.org. ##2338084##
