Story
We are looking for a loving home for our sweet 8-month-old miniature Schnauzer. With three kids involved in multiple sports, we are constantly traveling, making it difficult to provide the time and training she needs. After my accident on June 12, my ability to walk and care for our dogs as I used to has been limited, making it even harder to give her the attention she deserves. She is a playful, loving pup who enjoys being around people. As she’s still a puppy, she needs some work to be fully housebroken, but she sleeps well in her kennel and does great when taken outside consistently. She’s learning and needs guidance with leash training, but she’s very smart and will pick up on things quickly with the right patience and care. We are looking for a home that can provide her with time, training, and lots of love. If you’re interested in giving her a wonderful new home, please reach out. We want to ensure she goes to a family who will cherish and care for her as much as we do.

Story
“Some of us are just different” - Elphaba from Wicked Mojito is such a sweet little puppy who is just a bit different. He was born with a congenital deformity in one of his front legs. He still a sweet rambunctious puppy and as cute as they come! My kids are completely obsessed with this boy already. Mojito is the sweetest little baby! He is an energetic puppy, but moves a bit slower due to his leg (he is trying to work on moving without putting weight on it sometimes, but he is still using it a lot). He is working on playing fetch, enjoying belly rubs and taking naps in a lap, we work on all the important skills here 😜. He handles kids really well, is working on “sit” and we are slowly adding crate time but it isn’t his favorite right now…. Mom was trapped and resecued over the holidays. Turned out she was pregnant and had our little drink litter. Just as cute as can be! Beautiful coloring, smart, playful, sweet, dog and kid friendly. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
This scruffy is Sangria. Sangria was found, pregnant in a known dumping area at Christmas. Slowly but surely, she has been coming out of her shell. She is truly the sweetest dog once she trusts you. Her favorite thing to do is get belly rubs and is the fastest tail wagger! Sangria is featured here with her puppies Dallas Dog - Rescue.Rehab.Reform took her in during a help clear the shelter initiative.
