Story
Ryker is a great companion dog. He came from a home where he was a constant companion for an elderly lady who went into hospice. He would love to sit with you and watch TV or quietly play with his toys on the floor. He rides well in a car and walks nicely on a leash. He has been good with the other dogs in his foster home but is also content to be an only child. Ryker is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. He is located in a foster home in Charlottesville Va.

Story
Tiny Cutie Pie is a sweetheart of a dog! Her world was turned upside down when she lost her lifetime home when her owner had a stroke and could no longer live at home. But notwithstanding this huge loss in her life Cutie Pie is doing great in her foster home. She loves to cuddle and is wonderful with everyone she meets including children. She is also housetrained. She is good with other dogs but would prefer a home where she does not have to share her people. If you are interested in this precious little dog, please let us know. Thank you for your interest in Cutie Pie! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=18575 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Cutie Pie, or to submit an online application. HART adopts to the local DC/VA/MD metro area only. Visit our website for more information about our adoption process.

Story
PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - SISSY BREED - Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle mix) SIZE - About 15 pounds AGE - 3 years GENDER - Female MEDICAL CONCERNS - None known BEHAVIOR CONCERNS - None known SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - Sissy is a happy girl! She is full of life and energy and a ball of fun! She came to us recently from a NC shelter partner where she had been found as a stray. She was matted, likely from fleas and itching, but is now beautiful with almost all her hair grown back in. Sissy loves playing with toys and being with her person. She tolerates other well behaved dogs but prefers being the center of your world. Eating alone is a must and this girl can chow down! Fully grown at just 14 pounds, she is a perfect size for most homes! Sissy is in good health, spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Sissy is best suited to a home without small children who could easily be put off by her energy. An experienced owner will patiently help her learn manners and boundaries - this girl thinks she owns the world and is in charge! We are seeking a home with an active adopter who has the ability to work from home or be at home the majority of the day to spend time teaching this amazing dog boundaries. A home without larger pets and with a fenced, secure yard will give her room to run and play, two things she does superbly! Queen Sissy is looking forward to meeting you! Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Adopt a Pet inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of Sissy and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family with Sissy at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting her and determining that she matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
