This is my sweet 2-year-old Morkie, Bella. She’s fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm protection. Bella is pad-trained but loves outdoor walks and playtime. She’s friendly with people and kids, though she can be shy and fearful of other dogs—she may bark or run away, but she’s never aggressive. Bella has attended doggy daycare and gets along well with other dogs. She’s playful, loves rope toys, and enjoys cuddles. She knows commands like sit, stay, down, and off, though she can be a bit stubborn, especially if treats are involved! She has a quirky habit of eating dog poop, per the vet this is a normal behavior for some dogs, that is easily managed. After a tough move last year, Bella has struggled to regain her spark. She’s a loving, loyal companion who deserves a fulfilling life with the attention and care she needs. I’m hoping to find a loving family or individual who can provide her with the space, time, and affection she deserves.

At 7.7 lbs., I'm the perfect size to go with you, don't you think? I arrived on 12/6, I have been working on pottying outside, I will use potty pads. I’m looking for my forever family that will understand I need someone who's patience and understands when I'm left alone I am afraid. If you want a companion that will follow you and love you, then I just might be your gal! Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator.
