You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Frosty the Snowman was a jolly happy soul! Frosty is the sweetest little guy, with the heart of gold. Frosty is a mixed breed terrier pup weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds! He is estimated to be around one years old. Frosty has lots of puppy energy, with a very sweet temperament. Frosty is working on potty training and crate training but is doing extremely well! Frosty gets along with dogs and children, and everyone he meets. He does like to chase cats, so would do best in a home without, but no aggression. Frosty does have some resource guarding issues when it comes to his food, but it’s very manageable by feeding him separately from other pets. He has so much love and affection to give, and he hopes to find his forever home! For more information about frosty please place an application! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. January 16, 2025, 9:39 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Jack is a Yorkie mix, but bigger than a full breed, being around 13 lbs. He is a playful  young boy with a sweet temperament. Jack loves pets and will definitely attach to his humans. In his foster home he gets along with all the other dogs, males and females. His favorite canine is the small, pretty female Shih Tzu. She has his whole heart.  Jack will be microchipped, vaccinated and neutered in a couple of weeks and ready for his forever home. The new owner will need to provide training to teach Jack  to walk on a leash without pulling.     Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
