Story
Melford is sweet little guy who is looking for a special furever home. He will need someone who is willing to brush his beautiful soft hair and take him for routine grooming.  He will also need to be fed a soft wet food that is edible using his tongue.  Shredded /liquidity is best .  This is due to Melford has a partial lower jaw making him eat slowly and with a limited diet.  He does love his food though and may give a little grrrr sound when another dog tries to take it.    He's laid-back and  loves just hanging out in his doggie bed,  with his foster and foster brothers. Even cats are ok with him. Sometimes plays when he finds the right buddy. He would've to be in a home with other small dogs.    Potty training is going well and will get excited to go outside to do his bissness or just wonder around in the yard. Not fond of his create but is doing better on a leash super quite in the home but may bark when left alone.  ##2042897##

Story
Hey! My name is Stray Charles. I am incredibly sweet and affectionate, especially with the ladies. I like to show off my silky, soft hair and I don’t shed very much, so I know how much they will love me! I am more selective about men. Some are fine, while others might see my protective side. My ideal home would be a home with no children or men. I will make a loyal companion for a person but that person or people need to know that I will be protective of them once we have bonded. When company comes over it’s best if I stay in my kennel. I walk well on a leash as long as no other humans are in sight. Currently I have a few things I’m working on. I’m starting to figure out house training and I go stand at the door when I need to go potty. It takes me a while to warm up to new people so I need a family that is willing to be patient with me and ideally no men in the home. I am an incredibly talented jumper so I need a home with a tall fence. This is also one of my strengths because I would do great on an outdoor adventute and obstacles won't slow me down (future agility champion?)! I’m very good in my kennel when my foster mom is out but at night I need to sleep in bed with you and I promise I will lie peacefully through the night next to you or at the end of the bed. I haven’t met any cats yet but I absolutely love every dog I meet especially once my own size. I’m very playful and I share my treats and bones nicely. If you are looking for a loyal side kick then I’m the little guy you are looking for. *** Because I am slow to warm up, Foster to Adopt (FTA) may be available for the right fit. ##2002461##

Hi my name is Bethany. I am the sweetest little girl ever! I love all people big and little. I also get along great with other dogs and I love to play! Toys are so great.  I have beautiful long hair normally but I needed a short haircut to get out all of the tangles.  I am doing well with kennel training and sleep in my kennel all night with only minor protests at first. I am making great progress with potty training too. I  go potty outside most of the time. I haven't had much practice with leash walking but I sure do think it is fun.  I am still young and have puppy energy. I will be an awesome companion for most family situations If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form.
