Story
Skittles is 12, but still seems like she's 5. She is simply adorable, and every sitter I've used for her has fallen in love with her. She is lovable, sweet, and devoted (she'll follow you everywhere in the house). She loves affection, and gets along with other dogs, but prefers people. She needs about 3 regular walks every day (please don't apply to adopt her if you can't do that). Recently, due to her age, she's leaving the occasional tiny puddle of pee when she gets up after lying on the floor, but her medication helps with that. She doesn't shed (is hypoallergenic) and never smells bad. She loves kids, and has never shown aggression to anyone. It will be heartbreaking to let her go, but if you could give her tons of love and her daily walks, I could get over it, as would she😢 Ray

Story
Meet Annie, an 8-year-old sweetheart with a playful personality. Annie came to us after her elderly owner was displaced by Hurricane Beryl and had to make the difficult decision to give her up. Despite her age and needing to shed a few pounds, Annie’s zest for life remains undiminished. Annie weighs about 20 pounds right now, but would be happier and healthier around 12-14 pounds. While her vision and hearing aren’t as sharp as they once were, it doesn’t slow her down one bit.Annie adores attention and will stand on her hind legs for pets and treats. She loves to snuggle and will happily fall asleep in your arms while being petted. She’s house trained, uses a doggie door, and sleeps quietly in her kennel through the night. Annie does need regular grooming to keep her coat in tip top shape.Annie gets along well with other dogs, though she can be a bit intimidated by larger ones. She’s great with all people and always has a happy demeanor. Annie will make a wonderful companion and is ready to bring joy to her forever home.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sebastian - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Omgosh folks, we have got the cutest overload going on with this lil guy looking for a home to call his very own. I am Sebastian, and I'm around 4-5 months old and super sweet, loving and not to mention, I'm playful too! Nothing better then exploring this big ole world and playing with my siblings. I only come in at around 6lbs and should be right about the 10lb area when I get myself fully growed up. Because of my size I'd do best in a home without small kiddos. I would do great with a playful furry 'sibling' to chase around stealing...err I meant sharing toys! Although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet but introduced properly at my tender age I should do just fine with them too! I've got a whole bunch of love in this whittle bitty body to give. And it could be YOU that is lucky enough to be on the receiving end, you just need to fill out my adoption application!! It can be found at haydudeequine.org
