Story
GABBY and her sister Greta were dropped off in a cemetery and left to starve. A kind hearted friend of ICARE took them home and called us. We don't know what their life was like before they were dumped but we are doing our best to make it good from now on. They are both a little shy and timid at first but once they see they can trust you they become loving , affectionate babies. They thrive on love and attention. They have both since been spayed and vaccinated and are ready for a home of their own. They have been fostered by a wonderful foster mom and are friendly, quiet and very affectionate. If you have questions about this sweet pup you can contact us at 870=368-5000. Complete an application online at www.icarearkansas.com/application. An ICARE member will contact you within 72 hours to arrange a meeting. Or visit us at the ICARE shelter, 214 Circle Dr, Melbourne, Saturdays from 9 am to noon. .

Story
Mikey came to us with his brother, Monroe.  They are an owner surrender and we were told the parents were Mountain Dog and Heeler.  Mikey has been outside in a pen all of his life and not given much attention, so he is a little shy. He doesn't potty in his pen here, so would be easy to housetrain. Mikey loves to go for walks and chew on bones. He is a pretty neat guy once you get to know him.  If you have any questions or would like to come meet Mikey, please go to our website www.schspets.org and complete an adoption application. We will contact you after that! August 15, 2024, 4:37 pm

Story
Picasso is playful, sweet, and full of personality.  He came to use with his brother, Pablo, and both were found as strays, so we have no information about parents.  They were in foster-care until room at the shelter so Picasso is very socialized and affectionate.  He is on the timid side, but warms up quickly with attention and belly rubs.  He has only been outside, but is loving being inside at our shelter.  He does need a little work with housetraining but seems smart and receptive to learning.  He walked with a harness and leash perfectly the first time, so he is a very smart puppy!  Picasso would be good with other dogs and kids too.  If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.August 15, 2024, 4:37 pm

Story
Pablo showed up as a stray with his brother, Picasso.  He is sweet as can be and loves to smile at you and he has the softest eyes.  He was in foster care until we could bring him to the shelter, and is still getting used to the place.  He is a little shy when you first meet him, but the more attention he gets, the more comfortable he becomes.  Pablo is not house trained but seems super smart and eager to learn, so we don't think it will take long.  He was only outdoors but loves his inside room now.  He walks very well on a leash too, which was surprising.  Smart little cookie this one! He would be good with kids and other dogs. If you would like more information, please contact the shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at scshpets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.August 15, 2024, 4:37 pm
