Story
Kayce is a very sweet, 4.5 month old, male pittie mix. He’s joined MHCR from a very small, high kill shelter in an under served area in Texas. He and his siblings were facing euthanasia due to lack of staffing at their shelter when a local rescue came in to help network them. Kayce is the big, lovable, teddy bear of the group. He’s everyone’s favorite friend. He’s confident but not cocky, outgoing, and so snuggly. Kayce is in foster in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/kayce You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Teeter is everyone’s favorite tomboy! This brindled beauty can hang with all her brothers and is fairly rough and tumble herself. And if you look really closely, you can see Teeter’s Teefers!! There’s just nothing cuter than that! Teeter is a 4.5 month old, female, Pittie mix. She’s come to MHCR from a small, under-funded, high-kill shelter in Texas where she and her family were facing euthanasia due to under-staffing. Teeter is very human focused and would much rather be getting loved and belly scratches from her peeps than wrestling with the canine crew in her foster home. If there’s not a hand available, she will gladly join in the fun, though. Teeter is in foster in Mead, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/teeter You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
Keene, hound / mountain cur, 2-3 yo, 48 lb, neutered maleKeene is good natured and calm.  He is tactful and a little shy at first and looks the other way when you directly talk to him, but this is only at first. He gets deeply attached and can almost read your mind. He is a true companion, so nice to have around. Good with dogs with proper introduction. Loves car rides and does not miss a chance to jump in a car and stay there. Was saved by the efforts of several rescuers, a lot of people rooted for him. Adoption fee $325.
