Story
We adopted Kailey when she was just 8 weeks old from Charleston, SC and she is now 9. She is the gentlest dog I have ever met. Her demeanor is perfect for households with children or other animals. She loves attention and being pet and will always love to cuddle. Her and her sister Jordan are always together and follow each other everywhere. A new home for them must have loving owners. They grew up with a lot of attention and love from my wife and I, so I wouldn't want them to lose that. Their first few years were spent in a house with a backyard and the last 3 have been spent at an apartment complex. Bonded dog is Jordan. We would like them to be adopted together. Jordan is 7 years old. The vet says she's a terrier/something mix. The description for Jordan is the same as Kailey's. She loves to cuddle and be close. She is more energetic than Kailey though and loves to play, whereas Kailey would rather explore outside or be pet versus playing fetch.

Story
Luna is a super sweet Catahoula Leopard dog mixed with Aussie. She would love to find a forever home with a fenced yard, and another active, energetic dog to play with. Luna is a special needs dog because she needs help emptying her bladder. When she was just a young pup she and another dog got loose and went into a neighbor's yard where they were shot. The dog she was with was killed and she was shot in the back as she was running away. Thankfully she survived and is now recovered and can walk fine but she doesn't have any feeling back there, so she needs to wear diapers indoors, and she needs help expressing her bladder. We know that involves extra work, but it's not very difficult at all. We amputated her tail to make cleaning her easier. We're hoping you will open your heart to this super sweet, gorgeous, very special girl. If you are interested in learning more about this dog, please complete an application by visiting http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt. We start all of our adoptions with a one week sleepover to ensure a good fit for everyone. ***Please note that we are a volunteer run organization, and due to the large volume of applications, inquiries, phone calls, emails, and messages received we may not be able to provide a personal response to every one. For that reason, formal applications will be given priority over the aforementioned.*** Adoption Process 1. Submit Application 2. Interview 3. Home Check 4. Meet the Pet The adoption fee for dogs 6 months and older is $150; this includes the spay/neuter, microchip, and current vaccinations as of the date of adoption.

Story
Hey there, my name is Fae! I was hand selected for K9's For Warriors service dog program from Flagler Humane Society and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9's in February of this year, I've decided I would rather be a family companion over having to work for a living. While I may be a bit shy making new friends at first, I bond very strongly with my humans once given a chance. My ideal day would be spending time sunbathing on a nice sunny day, and also indulging in zoomies when I get super excited! My personal favorite pass time is chowing down on a tasty chew bone, but don't be fooled by my chewing skills because I take good care of my soft stuffies. I would prefer a calmer environment where I can be the only dog and get all the affection for myself! Although I didn't want to have a full-time job, I am very food motivated and eager to please. I even already know most of my basic cues! I am crate trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and eagerly waiting for my furever home! If you are considering adopting Fae, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and can't wait to assist you in finding your furever friend!
