Story
Meet Brownie! This sweet 30 lb boy was pulled from a shelter in Texas, and is happy to have a new lease on life! He is super affectionate and wants to spend his every moment making you happy! He loves other dogs and would love a playmate in his new house that he can romp around with in the yard! Brownie spent from 3-4 months old until 9-10 months old in the shelter. He kept a great attitude and is super happy to learn every day. Brownie is a dog with "no bad days" every day is fun! Brownie has plenty of energy and is great at entertaining himself. He loves to play with toys and explore in the yard. As a past time he enjoys watching squirrels from the patio window. He barely barks, he's always curious. Brownie especially loves crawling up in your lap for some sleepy snuggles at the end of the day. Brownie is a shadow dog and is one that will get up and go room to room with you as you do chores. He is a little guy, and he walks pretty well on leash. Brownie is potty trained with the dog door and doesn't make a peep in his crate at night. He also does fine sleeping outside of his crate. He is super goofy and loves to play, but knows when it's time to chill out and take naps. He would do well in an active household that would play with him in the yard and take him on walks. If Brownie sounds like a good fit for you and your family please start with our application! Brownie is based in Boise, but is available throughout the PNW with transport included at no extra charge. freedomboundhounds.com/adopt

Thelma and Louise were scooped up and have been having a great time in foster care since! They're fostered with several dogs, where they spend their days playing, there are also older children, and a cat in the home. Thelma loves toys and snacks. Story
Meet Bran – the Sweetest Little Snuggle Bug! Bran is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy with a heart of gold, just waiting for his forever home. This adorable boy might be a little timid when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he’ll be your loyal cuddle buddy for life. Bran absolutely loves snuggling up with his humans and thrives on affection and attention. Bran has been raised around multiple dogs and has no aggression at all – he’s truly a kind soul who loves the company of others, both canine and human. He’s also comfortable with cats and has been around our kitten, so he’d likely do well in a home with cats or other furry friends. With a healthy appetite and a love for chew bones, Bran has some favorite treats that he enjoys during his downtime. While Bran is a pro at sitting on command, he’s still working on his potty training skills (about 75% of the way there!). He’s a quick learner and, with patience and consistency, will pick it up in no time. He’s comfortable in his crate, sleeping through the night and resting peacefully when his people are out. Bran would make a wonderful addition to almost any household, whether you have other pets or he’s your one-and-only. His sweet, adaptable nature means he’d fit in well with just about any family. He’s ready to shower his new family with love, loyalty, and plenty of snuggles! To add Bran to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2136640##
