Story
Willow was a stray that I took in, she wasn’t but maybe a couple months old, she was scared and alone. My two grand boys found her and asked me if I wanted her so I took her in. She is a little over two years old I believe, she is a very loving and playful dog with lots of energy, she does have anxiety and I haven’t been able to help her with it. I've tried giving her some medication from the vet that hasn’t helped much. I believe she was neglected and possibly abused before she was found. I’m 64 years old and live in a tiny two bedroom apartment it is hard for me to walk her and I don't have a fenced in yard for her to run in. My goal for her is to find someone that can help her, love her and give her what she needs because she deserves it. I love this dog so much I have tried so hard to keep her and just can’t do it anymore. She needs a fenced in yard or a farm where she can run and play plenty and someone who can get her the love and help she needs.

Story
Sadie Mae is an adorable 11-month old, fully vetted,  Mountain Cur mix. She is an incredibly friendly, affectionate, loyal, and playful dog with lots of love to give. She is fully house- and crate-trained. Sadie is the perfect companion for a family seeking a gentle, sweet, and funny dog. She loves giving kisses, cuddling, playing, and romping around. After a day of play Sadie is all about hanging out on the couch with her peeps and watching a movie, with treats of course.  She gets along great with kids and other dogs. She has done AMAZING with the children and dogs in her foster home. We would recommend children 5 or older for Miss Sadie's family, unless the children have previous experience with dogs. Sadie Mae has A LOT of love to give and may accidentally knock a younger children down during the excitement of playtime. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate but doesn't always realize her size :)   If you're looking for a wonderful companion, sweet Sadie Mae is the girl for you!  You may submit an application on our tgspca.org August 6, 2024, 3:04 pm

Story
Dodger B is a smart, athletic, and friendly 18-month-old lab/mountain cur mix who was found running in traffic on a busy highway -- hence his name, as he was dodging cars, narrowly escaping being hit by more than one! He was likely abandoned and is now looking for a loving home. Dodger is a very sweet and good-natured dog who is good with the dogs and cats in his foster home. He has a lot of energy and loves to go on walks and adventures with his human! He walks well on a leash and is very eager to please. He is undergoing treatment for Lyme disease and Erlichia but is very resilient and is on the mend. (Both are treatable tick-bourne diseases.) Dodger is a big boy, weighing in at 70 pounds. Dodger would make a great addition to almost any home. He's up-to-date on vaccines, and will be neutered and micro-chipped soon.
