Story
Introducing Bindi 🩵 She is a mountain cur mix with a hint of hound-like charm. At 2-3 years old, Bindi's light brindle coat is a sight to behold, but it's her sweet nature that truly shines. She's not just a pretty face; she's well-behaved and housebroken, making her the ideal companion for any family. Bindi's social, getting along well with other dogs, but she's just as content being the center of attention in a one-dog household. Her crate training and leash-walking skills make her a breeze to handle. You can even take her on road trips as she rides in the car without a fuss. Bindi's affectionate soul extends to her foster family’s grandkids; she adores their company. She has never shown aggression towards cats, but she might bark at them through the fence, so it's best to supervise her around feline friends. Bindi is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, always ready to shower you with kisses and snuggles. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Bindi is your girl. Give her a chance, and you'll find a loving, four-legged family member who'll steal your heart. Story
This is the happiest dog alive. Very good natured always looks like he’s literally smiling. Currently we are working on potty training to go outside. Please remember that when you adopt a young pet and you bring him into your home, he will not know where to go unless you take time to show him. They go to specific places at this age. He doesn’t know where to go there unless you take the time to teach it to him, but he will understand the concept. Cookie loves to play with toys, go for car rides, and just enjoys life. This little dog just wants to be loved. So if you need to are hunting for a good natured dog that gets along well with everyone, that is this dog. Cookie is really just a sweet boy. He’s innocent and he doesn’t know the world can be a hard place. He’s been extremely socialized and can fit into any family. Cookie does not like to be crated. Crate is fine for a temporary solution to train, but once trained no dog should have to live its life in a crate. We are hunting for someone who wants a family member to share. This I sincerely feel will be very lucky, if you have any questions like that, please let us know . RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com

Story
This beautiful brindle, soft-coated girl from the Mississippi Delta is simply perfect, a “dream dog” if there ever was one. She has the sweetest demeanor, knows basic commands, is comfortable in a crate, is not destructive with toys/beds, and is completely house-trained. She is quiet-natured and loves her people and her fur siblings hard. She wants nothing more than to please and be loved.Willow Gray is strong and does have a high prey drive. Her foster is currently working on her reaction to cats, squirrels, and bunnies. Willow Gray has made huge progress with the resident barn cats, but she will need a home with no cats. Willow Gray walks well on a leash as long as there is nothing to chase. She will need an adopter who can manage her strength on a leash in the event she decides to chase something.Willow Gray is very loyal to her “human.” She acclimates quickly in any environment. She will match your pace, whether it be walking, hiking, or simply lounging around on a lazy day. She is exceptional with dogs that are her size (or larger). She takes correction from similar sized dogs well. Smaller breeds that tend to be yappy and get “in your face” are not her favorite. Willow Gray’s story is one of incredible resilience. She was found sitting on the side of a major interstate in MS, committed to staying with her friend, who was not so fortunate until a hero came along and got her to safety. If you are looking for a companion that will show YOU that same kind of loyalty and be a wonderful addition to your family, please consider giving this sweet girl a family to call her own. At five years old, she is more than ready and she certainly deserves it!Name: Willow GrayBreed: Mountain Cur/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 5 years  (estimated)Weight: 53lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: NoAdoption Fee: $500.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:  MississippiIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue - our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south and New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for ROO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Introducing Roo: Your Energetic and Affectionate Companion! Roo is a 2 1/2-year-old Mountain Cur weighing approximately 50lbs. This handsome pup is bursting with energy, always ready for an adventure. However, when he's seeking affection, he knows how to switch into a calm and loving mode. One of the most endearing qualities about Roo is his love for affection and his favorite pastime—running and doing zoomies in the yard! You'll find yourself charmed by his playful antics and infectious joy. Watching him fetch and play with toys is an absolute delight. Roo is a well-trained dog who knows commands such as sit, wait, place, and kennel. He recently completed a 30-day in-board training, demonstrating his eagerness to learn and please his human companions. If needed, his caregivers are more than willing to cover the cost of additional training to ensure a smooth transition into your home. When it comes to manners, Roo is house-trained and has excellent crate behavior. He understands the cue to kennel up and is comfortable spending time in his crate. You won't have to worry about any accidents or destructive behavior. Roo enjoys playing fetch, spending time with his favorite toys, and socializing with other dogs. His friendly nature makes him an ideal playmate for canine pals of all sizes. Although he hasn't been around cats, livestock, or many children, he may be tempted to give chase to small creatures out of playfulness. From a medical standpoint, Roo is in excellent health, with no known concerns. Roo has shown compatibility with dogs and adults; however, he may need some time to warm up to new people. Slow introductions and a gentle approach are key to helping him feel comfortable. He walks well on a leash and rides calmly in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures. This sweet and intelligent boy thrives in an understanding and loving home. He's eager to continue learning, and his caregivers believe he would benefit from activities like swimming, as he showed great interest and enthusiasm during his encounters with the pool. If you're seeking a loyal and fun-loving companion who will keep you active and entertained, Roo is the perfect match. Adopting Roo means gaining a friend for life who will shower you with love, energy, and affection. Ask us about Roo today!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. August 19, 2024, 3:30 pm

A very sweet, human-loving boy, with endless silly-ness to share! Ezran loves every human he has met while being in his foster home. He has so much love to give, and will benefit greatly from consistent training. While still working on not jumping on people out of joy, Ezran is so excited to see everyone he meets, and he loves giving kisses. Ezran knows his basic commands (sit, down, paw) and is extremely smart and a great listener. He is house and crate trained! After not having been around dogs for 4 years, he was slowly introduced to a dog while in foster care and has been doing great. He is a shy boy when it comes to meeting dogs, but once he starts to warm up and feel comfortable he is a great doggy friend who understands cues and backs off when needed.Still is a puppy at heart. A moderately active family will suit his energy level best.  He loves a good game of fetch and will bring a toy/ball to you when he wants to play and he loves doing zoomies! He loves to sniff and go on walks, however will need additional help learning to not pull. It’s not his fault every smell must be sniffed!! After some fun, he loves to hang out and take a nap.  Ezran can be a nervous boy and will need a family that continues to work on his confidence. While in foster, he has shown tremendous improvement as time has progressed and he has gained trust. As much as he loves to be in your business, he also appreciates his space. As trust is gained, he has shown more and more willingness to share some cuddles. Ezran can’t wait to meet be introduced to his new, happy home, and to share all of the love in the world with his humans! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. weight 42 lbs age: 1 adoption donation: $599 Isabella is an awesome, friendly and super sweet girl who would make an amazing playmate for another dog. Isabella was found wandering the streets of Okolona, Mississippi and taken into the rescue and immediately charmed everyone. She spends her day running with all the other dogs and is a wonderful big sister to all the puppies. She is gentle and loving and will just make a wonderful family dog. Recently the rescue took Isabella into their cat house and she had no reaction whatsoever so we expect that she would be fine with kitties as well. Isabella will need a little time to adjust to being in a home environment. She is house trained but like any rescue she may need some guidance when she adjust to a new home. She hasn't had much practice walking on a leash, but she is a smart girl and learns quickly. Isabella doesn't have a drop of aggression, she is all tail wags and kisses.   Wags is a licensed 501 C3 where one woman takes care of almost 150 homeless and stray dogs many of them have expensive medical needs..
