Nala is a 3 year old husky/mountain curr mix. She is the sweetest dog, and loves all people and animals, and just wants to spend the day with you. She loves the dog park, and will almost always get the zoomies. She does incredible in public spaces, so if you have errands to run, she would love to accompany you. She has been on many airplanes, and knows how to navigate the grocery store better than some people. She has received many hours of professional training. She knows sit, lay down, stay, paw and more. Nala was rescued from a shelter in New Orleans as a puppy, and she has separation anxiety. She can be left alone, but she may try to escape. We have an escape proof crate that she feels safe in that you can take with you if you choose to adopt her. She would do best in a home with someone who works from home, already has a dog, or both. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days. This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received. She is an easy going dog who loves to play and nap on the couch. She is about 9/10yrs old and kennel trained. Knows basic commands and good on a leash (not great off leash she will chase squirrels) Recommend she is the only dog as she does have some dominance issues with other dogs but she has lived with cats and does fine with them (our current cat bullies her). Sometimes talkative and sometimes too smart for her own good. We are having to downsize our living arrangements otherwise we would keep her until her last days. No health issues. She'll come with everything she needs: kennel, harness, leash, food bowl, toys, dog bed, sweaters/jacket.

Beautiful boys .. Drifter and Desperado update.. They continue to gain weight and are enjoying their loving foster home .. Remember these boys .. They were loving around a Fuel Max at Kickapoo and HWY 290 in Texas.. Everyone was posting about getting them help!! We got them safe and they are together! They are Heartworm positive and we will get them neutered.. We would love support for these boys.. it will be a process .. They are friendly and sweet boys.. Please continue to help us help them! This is Jon. He is a 1.5 yr old Catahoula mix. He is a leaner lover amd adores attention. He loves walks, playing with toys, bones. He is an ease with bath time. Kennel trained. Knows sit, lay down, 'kennel', wait. Great with kids (7 yrs and up), loves cats and other dogs. He needs a yard and space to run around. It isn't fair to him to be trapped in an apartment all day everyday and only get 3 walks a day when I leave for work at 530 am. He is not fixed (doesn't lift his leg or mark) and does need an updated rabies shot. He is house broken, he will hold it until he can't anymore. He needs some to love him, work with him and to be active with him. Also he LOVES car rides and beach trips.
